Longines has blatantly copied the Oyster case shape and lugs, incorporating them into their new watches.I used to be a huge Longines fan, but I dislike the recent direction they're heading in by imitating Rolex. so i bought the submariner instead, I can do a little research and hopefully find out what what she is worth now.

as a longins fan may i say , that watch has its own personality , ie we cannot say that all state wagons are designed to resemble a certain one , each has its own personality unless it is a fake or copy . this watch is a chronograph version they produced with their own personality imo .
Longines literally stole the oyster case shape and lugs and put it on all of their new watches 😂. I mean, even look at the new hydroconquest GMT clasp. Straight Rolex submariner clasp ripoff...no shame! I used to be a huge Longines fan but don't like the recent direction they're going in by riding off the back of Rolex's success. Go back to the big eye chrono and older hydroconquest days! You know, when you had your own identity. I want to buy Longines because they are Longines through and through and no one else.
@@steelsteez6118 when mercedes lifted in the 80s its trunk for better aerodynamics, honda did that and bmw , does this mean they stole the design ? . citroen was the first to use coupling for front wheal cars , others followed . but each did it his way , mustang was the first pony car and others produced that type of design , this is how some strong designs change the industry and this why rolex is a pioneer though many refuse to admit it . what i want to say ( as a longines fan 😂😂 ) is still longines have a distinguished style and quality that separate it from being a copy to compare to others considering it as an " alternative " .

Agreed - why is anyone doing butterfly?? What is the appeal? On the fly sliding adjustment should be the standard on all watches over $1,000

That’s the thing with cheaper watches, watch itself is great but has limited options. That’s why I like Tudor, they’re not that expensive and have a glide lock system on their newer models.
@@key4duty Tbh I don't even need a T-Fit or IWC style system on all my watches. Just go with a normal milled clasp with 3 micro adjusts and I'm happy. I just don't want butterfly clasps. They're the worst.

The Daytona is affordable just not very accessible.
In the used market (yes, used) the Daytona becomes insanely expensive.
I'm trading AMS28K and WIF both picked up the last 24 hours.
I feel that the last bull run was bolstered by all the money being printed. Major returns next bull run but I think they will be tamer in my humble opinion. A 10x on AMS28K is and a 15x on polygon are fair considering how much those two coins are interwoven into the entire crypto ecosystem

To me it’s mind boggling that they didn’t use an integrated chronograph movement like their higher end L688 movement with a column wheel.
Instead they used a modular chronograph that is far inferior in a watch case of that size and not to mention the price.
Longines Bigeye for example comes with a far better movement with a column wheel in almost smaller dimension and very much cheaper price.
One thing I know is that Amazon's AMS28K will make people rich in 2025 only if we get in now .
Still stupid decision for them to have the thinner bracelet on these. The quick adjust clasp from the Hydroconquest GMT would’ve made this thing perfect.
Quick adjust is usually reserved for divers, I’ve not seen a luxury GMT with a quick adjust, I wish my Rolex Pepsi had it but my sub has and it’s the reason the sub gets the most wrist time.
In my opinion AMS28K has great Potential to Pump due to all the ai craze...

AMS28K has the most potential to do more than X10. ETH and BTC will most likely do a X5-X6, but that's fine for me. Gotta look for better entry points while I stake IRIS and PGEN, then wait for Polygen's next raise as I also look at their new partnership with Kenzo Ventures.

Longines is great. I have an Ultra Chron I love. And this new piece looks very attractive. But I would never say a Longines is Daytona alternatives. More like a Seiko upgrade options. Or a Tudor alternative, maybe.

From original, to homage to replica to fake, where on earth does the line become bold. If I was wearing that Longines I might as well wear a replica Rolex. This watch is far too thick. The Zenith is the nicer watch and has such a rich history.😊
I really like it. The timepiece I compare it to is the Tudor black bay chrono, given it's price range. I love Longines, and that thing has a whole lot going for it. I would still go for the more subdued look of the Tudor, with the date, and the additional water resistance for my wants and tastes

I have heard that the movement is different from and not as good as the one in the Avigation Big Eye - it's supposed to be a modular chronograph, I think. Do you know anything about the movement in this watch?
They did a good job with these. More of a Carrera alternative than a Daytona based on the deep dish dial and pusher style. Looks great, but I much prefer a brushed bracelet over polished.
