Seems crazy to think of just how much has happened since you filmed this vlog, just 2 months after you were at St Pancras Station, i was there doing some filming (and visited some other locations in London that day) and caught covid-19! For a long time after the first UK national lockdown, London was a very different place, mostly empty even after the shops had reopened, only this summer has it started to look and feel normal again. I posted a vlog last July when i visited after the first lockdown and it shows just how quiet everything was (the train was almost completely empty too), but my more recent ones show how things are returning to how they used to be.
Oh wow! I hope you didn't have too rough of a time when you had COVID! I can't imagine what it must have been like :O
And yeah! It was the same in Melbourne - ghost towns during our latest lockdown, but we've just been told that we can ease some restrictions on Thursday! I'm looking forward to getting back to normal! Or as close to normal as we can get :')
@@SarahSinclair It was awful, i really would not recommend it as it feels like your airways are on fire (it's a weird illness to get too as after getting it in march 2020, the thing reactivated 4 months later and i had another week of being ill with it). I think i've had it again since too (about a month ago), but because i'm now double vaccinated, it wasn't as bad and only lasted 4 days. In all, we had 3 lockdowns here, the last one took place between January and April, but thankfully all the restrictions have now been lifted so things have been getting better slowly (there's still a lot of virus circulating here but the vaccines have meant there will be no more lockdowns hopefully). Hope things improve there soon too, lockdowns are just horrible and the sooner they end the better.
