I've heard well spoken college kids spend a day talking and say absolutely nothing. Then a guy that sounds like a hillbilly teaches more in 28 minutes about life skills than I could get from a weekend welding course. Only point I disagree on is the cheap welder - go ahead and get it, even if you think you're going to use gas. Why? You might hate welding, then you're only down $160 instead of $500. There is nothing wrong with starting small and learning big.
Thank you very much , I totally agree . The cheap welder is a great way to try welding out . I started out with a gas ( might welder ) because I welded at work so I knew i would enjoy having one at the house
Yep, just subscribed to the channel, to the point information and no beating about the bush. I am checking what type of welder to buy and this is so useful. About 35 years ago I took a welding course and haven´t welded much, a few months ago I gave it a try, though I knew the welding tool and rods were not apt to do the job properly. That encouraged me to investigate and learn more myself, channels like this are a real treasure. All the best from Mexico
Thanks for being clear and honest. Lots of youtubers make it sound like you must buy a 2000 dollar welder and the cheap ones are worthless. Now I see these cheap welders have there place
They do have their place and that was my point . I wouldn't dare build a utility trail with one ( it wouldn't be safe ) . But for DIYs they are great . And they are a low price point and help to get you hands on training to help you learn by doing it and improve your skills . I've took welding classes which are also important , they teach you what a good weld is and looks like . But I still couldn't weld even after taking classes until I spent hours with the lead in my hands , using it . But most people are hands on learners . And that their place . After you learn a little more about welding . Then just like fishing. Your going to want better equipment too improve your skills further. And if and when you do go to a better machine you'll find out fast you could weld way better than you thought you could . Because good welders really do produce better results . So I'm not saying this welder is just as good . It's just an affordable way to get started
I am a certified welder and I use this welding machine on the job site it does a better job than the big welding machine does and it helps me get into places that is very hard for me to use a big welding machine at
For a nervous novice like me, this gets me in the door with minimal investment, and since I'm only planning on occasional use, this should be more than adequate. If Project Farm is a good indication, HF welders do alright compared to other Chinese machines. Thanks for this detailed video explanation for people like me.
@@FishinNStuff That’s not true at all you could use $100 welder to build trailers if it is rated at the proper amperage. The cost of the welder has nothing to do with penetration.
Man, I'm from the south and you make me feel like a Yankee. I could listen to you talk all day. You are informative and funny. You make learning fun. Keep up the good work. Wish I had found you a long time ago.
I really appreciate that . I'm not a professional but I love welding . And I know more skill is needed but I was trying to use the kiss method lol Keep it simple stupid haha and I'm good at that 😁
I’m only halfway through this video and it’s already taught me more than the last 10 videos I’ve watched combined. I really appreciate your common sense, easy to understand know how. It is definitely help me wrap my head around starting to weld.
Dude, this is exactly what I was looking for. I'm not a welder by trade, but have several small welding projects that I'd like to be able to tackle myself. They don't need to look perfect, but I'd like them to look better than trash. You demonstrated what was possible with a low end welder, and this gives me the confidence to know that with enough practice, I could achieve what I need to do without investing thousands of dollars. Thank you!
I bought this welder to learn welding and it is fantastic with one issue I’ve come across, which is trying to weld thinner metal. Doable but takes trial and effort. On thicker metal wow this thing is great, had it over a year and after I learned to use it I’m welding like a pro…well you know what I mean. I bought it to build a iron handrail and the compliments that I get are wow look at those welds. I’m still learning but this was a fantastic purchase and if anyone is on the fence I highly recommend it!
As a professional welder for 30 years, I've used quite a few different machines. There are plenty really good cheap machines on the market, harbor freight is probably the cheapest and they do work! You just have to consider what it is you're wanting to do with it. Anything over 1/8 th inches and you're better off spending the $ on a better one or bring your project to a pro. Just saying! Love the content keep it up! From a Welder & stuff 😁
I agree. I've been in the trade for goin on 20 years. I got a Lincoln Black Face SA 200 on the back of my truck. But I've been thinking about getting one of these titanium 220 welders for the garage.
I agree 100% . I have experience welding but mostly running a robot welder . No where the experience you guys have , and your exactly right . But that little 125 flux would be great for throwing in the truck and taking it with you .
@knellertuc9 I ran robot welders a long time and 20 years ago our robots had lincoln welders on them . Then all the new machines started getting Miller welders . I'm not a Lincoln hater at all but I don't think they are as good as they once were . And most if not all are made over seas just like the Harbor Freight stuff but some Miller's are too
I just wanted to take the time to tell you thanks and that I really do appreciate the hassle, time, money and energy you took to make this and share knowledge you hold. The video was a very educational, informational, but also honest, subjective, light hearted, and entertaining. That’s a tough balance to find, especially at the level it takes to keep people engaged nowadays when most of us now have the attention span of a lab rat😂 seriously tho this was prob the best vids I’ve seen on getting someone set up for success with flux core on a budget Thanks a lot
@@FishinNStuff that’s the very least I could do you’ve helped me get started in building my foundation of welding knowledge and I won’t forget it. Thanks again buddy, we’ll meet again 👊🏼🤙🏼
I'm gonna need you to get with every other creator on youtube and teach them how to make a good video. Seriously, this was the perfect combination of review/information/instruction.
A to da MAN !! I’ve just recently found this channel and I’m already a huge fan! Keep up the great content. Wether I ask for it or not, I probably need what you’re teaching… S’all I’m sayin. 😉
As a mechanic, I’ve been reluctant to take on welding, ie skill required and cost. You sir, make me want to weld. Very inspiring and non-pretentious instruction. Harbor Freight is going to have a massive run on welding equipment because of you.
Something I learned over the years is that nothing is as hard as you thought once you know how to do it, lol . You should always strive to learn more , don't get me wrong . But some people like others thinking Something is hard because it makes them look smarter . I think you can do it . Being a mechanic isn't exactly the easiest of jobs
@BM-if9zn I really appreciate it , I learned to weld at work and got certified . I don't really weld a lot any more except UA-cam projects . But when I decided to get mine . I watched a lot of different people's videos . It's amazing what you can learn on UA-cam
Extremely informative!!!!! This is one of the best welding videos that I have seen on the Net period!!!! Not only do you show comparison between different type of welders, but you go over every important detail necessary to make sure that this particular welder has everything covered to make sure that the finished product turns out like it is supposed to!!!!! Excellent job my friend, you Totally ROCK!!!!!
I am new and nervous to be welding. After watching your video I bought this same welder and your video taught me so much about everything involved. Thank you for your simple explanation in detail and honest approach to the differences between both machines. I feel better to jump in and give it a go. I am now subscribed to your site and look forward to more of your informative videos. Thank you.
@@FishinNStuff I converted my Chicago electric to DC electrode negative back when I still owned it. It improved the weld quality, but the titanium was still a game changer. I almost wish I'd kept the Chicago just to do a video showing how to make that conversion.
Yeah I've got that little mini welder also and I have the mini plasma cutter and MIG machine plus I got the mini stick and I would rather have them than I would any of the big welders I use them on the job site they do a lot better I can get them in places where I can't get big stuff at and I don't have to haul around a bunch of cords and crap I just take that little mini thing go up into where I have to go with it plug it in and go and it saves me wait on the truck which saves gas and plus I get the jobs done a lot quicker without having to haul a whole bunch of crap in there and then haul that same crap back out I can get in and out and be done before you can blink an eye
I’ve never welded a single thing in my life. This is THE BEST simple explanation on what to do and what to buy to get started! Ive spend HOURS but no video has explained it as good as this video, thank you!
Man, that was the most productive 28 minutes of my whole weekend. I learned more than I’ve ever known about welding and now I’m not so scared of it. I’m definitely gonna give it a try. Thank you.
I live in Utah now after 25 years in the Army. But, I grew up in in the woods (that’s rural for you city folks) between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, AL. Watching this video actually made me feel like I was listening to one of my relatives explaining how to compare, contrast, and use this welder when I was growing up. Thanks😊
Good un Keith. Man, 200 miles to go to a Harbor Freight, you are one devoted diy channel guru. I'm glad you got one of these. Now, you can use and review it for projects. I really like Miller's , but for the average at home project welder, these inexpensive welders work fine. Then they can spend the money they saved on more tools. I've used that argument on my wife many times. Good luck with your projects with the new welder. God bless ya'll and stay safe on your travels to the Harbor Freight stores.
I am from Guyana. Just graduated with a certificate in welding. I have two welding machines. This is the best welding video i have seen on youtube. I am sharing it in my group. Thank you.
I’ve watched tons of how-to and demonstration videos. This is, without a doubt, the best instructional video I’ve ever seen on any subject. Clear, complete explanations of the tool and the process and just enough extra information so you understand the options. Great job.👍
Just a tip I wanted to throw back up to ya: If you can't get your weld hot enough, you can put the ground clamp directly onto it to make the weld hotter. Or move what you're welding closer to the grounded area of the table. Inverse is true, too, if you're blowing through something thin, do what you can to maximize distance and also contact between the to-be-welded material and the table. Another thing that can be done is a weld-backer material. Like a chunk of aluminum, behind the two things trying to be welded. Handy if you gotta weld something delicate.
In a pinch you can also weld thicker material past 3/16ths, but you have to pre-heat the things to be welded with a propane torch. To black hot. Welding that way has to be done on firebricks though, a metal table would suck away the heat.
I've always attached ground clamp to the work piece, I'm going to try to a metal table now, see if I don't blow holes in 1 millimetre sheet,....my MIG isn't mega expensive so not designed for really stuff.
I've been a certified welder for 25 years, and still watch videos of everything because if you think you know it all, your wrong. I kept watching because your accent and comedy was awesome. I've learned more from the new guy than anyone in the questions they ask. I have a 13kw generator with an aray of everlast welders, and a 1200 lb bed slid. Thanks for sharing with the nubies. Im subscribing now
My buddy David that's on alot of my videos , he has an Everlast and absolutely loves it . We both use Miller's at work . But he only has good things to say about Everlast
Very comprehensive subject matter in a short video. There are a lot of great welding videos on YT, this is one of them! Thank you for taking the time and posting this.
I learned stick and Acetylene welding in high school and I decided it was time to try TIG welding I saw Harbor Freight's welder and got curious. Brother, you told me literally everything that I wanted to know about this welder, and you told it to me in the world's best accent. Thank you sir. I appreciate your wisdom.
I have one of these and it has done everything I need it to do. I run .030 wire since most say it works better with it, and I also upgraded to a Lincoln ground clamp since the one it comes with is a little too cheap for me. I mainly use mine for sheet metal patches on my truck which is probably the hardest thing to weld with this machine, but it's been doing a great job.
"Sheet metal patches on the truck" 👍 my last work truck had a few small holes in the passenger side (~off-road damage) when I bought it. I bought duct tape the same color (every few months I replaced it) looked ok if you weren't looking too closely. If I'd had that welder I could have tried to patch it. ✌️
I bought one of these 3 years ago, the regular price was $199.99, it was on sale for $169.99. I was in there last week & the regular price was $149.99. This weekend theyre on sale for $129.99! I worked at Harbor Freight 2003 - 2008, this is better than anything they had then & priced better! I've been satisfied with mine😊
i grew up without a dad and for me it feels that ive learned alot about welding because it felt like you were talking to me , and i understood everything thank you
Your welcome . And I'm sorry 😞 . My wife grew up without a dad too . I was lucky and had a great Dad ....I lost him about 4 years ago . I really appreciate you watching
There's nothing better than that little EasyFlux125 for going to your friends driveway and fixing his car's exhaust. It's so compact and light that even if you want to get more into welding, it's still gonna fill a portability niche better than anything. You could even leave it in your truck with a helmet and gloves and be ready for any small job anywhere.
From a newb, this is some of the best beginner instruction I have ever seen. There is no assumed knowledge. I teach firearms courses and it's easy to jump too far beyond the level of your students. Well done!
I was just completely amazed when i learned almost totally made and designed in the US. I SAID THERE AIN'T NO WAY, it was confirmed by my local stores manager
@FishinNStuff I believe he was referring to the mechanics' hand tool and equipment. I've seen over the years that harbor freight has gained in quality and durability. I've been surprised a few times how well some tools have performed.
New to welding, mainly as a hobbyist in the process of restoring an old car. This was a fantastic video and really helped me understand what I need to be looking for when I go purchase my first welder. Also thoroughly enjoyed your personality 😝
Thank you . If you think your going to like welding . I'd upgrade to a mig welder so later you can just add gas instead of having to purchase a new welder
A BIG BLACK EYE FOR HARBOR FREIGHT I have a Harbor freight TITANIUM FLUX 125 WELDER purchased from Harbor Freight a couple years ago. I am a retired plumbing contractor and backyard hobbyist. I love to build things in my spare time and help friends and neighbors that need something repaired. When I retired and closed my business, I had a stick welding machine but had no convenient place to connect it at my home! It would require an upgrade to my electrical service not worth the trouble and expense! When I saw a couple reviews on UA-cam for this Titanium 125 welder, I thought that would be the way to go. I already had a 110 Volt 30 Amp circuit to my workshop! It took me a while to get adjusted to the flux wire welding. I built a minibike from scrap pipe I had left over from the plumbing shop. The welder allowed me to make other things and make repairs for others I wouldn’t be able to do without it. In the middle of my last project, I cut a couple pieces of metal and got ready to weld them and when I pushed the button on the welder, nothing happened! It was dead! The fan did not come on but the light on the ON/OFF indicated there was power to the welder. I checked the manual for a reset button or a fuse and found no mention of either. So, I called the Harbor Freight 800 number and was told there was no repair for this welder. Harbor Freight has no repair facility, and no support is available. I was told by two different tech reps there is no schematics or parts list available from the factory where this is manufactured. “It is not worth getting it repaired and cheaper to go purchase a new one!” If you purchase this welder or many other things from Harbor Freight You only have 3 Months Warranty. It is considered disposable after that! All the reviews and discussion I have read about HARBOR FREIGHT I have never seen anything about their total lack of support for their products! I didn’t even get an “I’m sorry” or any offer for a discount on a new welding machine! I am retired, was an electronics technician in the Navy, active Ham Radio operator and electronics hobbyist. I feel like the electronics in this welding machine is straight forward non computer controlled and any decent electronics tech should be able to repair this given reasonable support. I removed the circuit board from the welder and found where a small component burned of course not knowing the component value or purpose will make it difficult to replace. Providing a schematic and parts list is a very inexpensive form of support that should be a minimum requirement. Their claim to revenue of 7 Billion Dollars tells me they could afford it! Leland Cox
I bought this welder one or two years ago. Just used it today. I’ve never had a weld break and I’m in no way a professional welder. It does the job for what I need.
Bro, I already a comment on this video earlier while watching, but I just finished and I just have to add another one. Your personality and delivery is just infectious. I just subscribed. Really excited to learn a lot more from the rest of your channel. Thank you so much for putting this out there! Cheers!
Sir! I have watched at least a couple of hundred videos on car repair, a few on washer/dryer repair, dozens on home repair, and very few of those videos even come close to your level of coherence and are not as cogently presented as yours. Most other UA-cam videos leave me with a few pending questions. Yours does not. Amazing video! Thank you.
Thank you so much for explaining not only welding for beginners but using a Harbir Freight welder. I've been apprehensive about getting I to welding due to the fact that people I know who weld won't take the time to show me. I'm a hands on learner so buying books is a waste of money. You explained everything very clearly and I appreciate that. Thank you again.
This will get you started but it's really practice that makes you good . And you'll learn more as you go . I Learned about UA-cam making mistakes and learning how to fix em . Welding is no different really
I know nothing about welding. I bought the HF welder for $1000.00. It's still in the box. I was afraid to get started because I know nothing about setting it up. I watched this video from beginning to end and, from the bottom of my heart, I can't thank you enough for breaking down the flux core set up the way you did. Your teaching style and occasional comic relief were absolutely perfect. You Sir, are a great American!
You should totally make more welding how to videos. I’ve learned more from this review video than I have with any other video online. You make welding seem much more approachable for those of us that want to learn how to do some bad small projects around the house/yard/RV. Thanks!
Great review Keith. My son and I bought a Lincoln about ten years ago and it worked fine. He still uses it but since I got this defibrillator put in my chest the won’t let me weld. So I’m stuck using the brazing rods. Great video buddy.
You can do some awesome projects with brazing rods too . If your good at it . Hey you did your time make your son do it for you lol . I made my son weedeat and he wanted to know why he always had to weedeat . I said because I don't like it lol . I did my time 🤣
@@FishinNStuff he does a lot of stuff for me that I’m unable to do now. He is a quick learner. I taught him just about all I know in a short time. I just have to keep a little information in my back pocket to keep him on his toes. 😂🤣
Thanks!! I don’t weld… yet. But I use allll kinds of tools for my home projects. You explained so much stuff that we need to know. You explained things in a way that answers the follow up questions that I would have had without us having to ask. You use logic and example. GREAT!!!!
Interesting that you covered down on this. Even more than your personal experience garnered a favored outcome. I am a firm believer in the Titanium 125 and have used it extensively. It really is one of those golden eggs you can purchase from HF and as you said, GET the job done with it and an incredibly reasonable entrance price. Great video!
My brother has one and he said he's never sure where the heat is set because the knob will just spin around and around. Some times it spins easy and then will feel snug. He turns it backwards and it feels loose for a bit then gets snug again. He says half the time it doesn't feel like the knob is even doing anything. And it doesn't seem right that the knob just spins around and around without hitting some kind of stop. He said the wheel speed knob doesn't act that way. How is it with yours?
@@mrhalfstep I’ve owned three, never, EVER had any of them have a fault with being out of the box or over the year of use. While it could be defective from the get go, it should have been taken back. But it sounds like that was possibly something from personal damage. Obviously I can’t tell, but the machines and everyone I know who owns one have had zero issues. I’d recommend a replacement. These are really great little machines TBH.
@@AXNJXN1Just so I get this right, when you turn the heat knob, on the three units that you've owned, you felt a steady resistance as you turned the knob and came against a hard stop of some kind before you reached power level 11? (I don't know your age, so the power level 11 thing may have gone over your head, now that I think about it. It's an old movie reference) I actually looked at one when I was in a local store and found that it did just as my brother described. I asked two different sales people and another customer that was looking for a welder himself about the funky way the knob worked and whether that was normal or not and all I got was crickets from them. Nobody knew nuttin".
I agree with the masses. I too am a newbie and have a welder I bought 6 months ago, but just have been too nervous to start it up. I have a short attention span, but I was able to sit through this video and feel more at easy and ready to starter up. Thanks for the time and effort taken to put this together. 9:3310:25 Self-shielded flux core welding is DCEN - Direct Current Electrode NEGATIVE. The gun is NEGATIVE polarity, the clamp is positive polarity. 11:59 I bought one of those clamps at HF to replace my oversized paper clip they call a clamp.
@@FishinNStuff Glad to be of help. You might not see what you want at one HF. I needed a grinding wheel. HF didn't have any in stock. I asked and the manager tells me that they get what the company decides to send them based upon some algorithm in sales quantity. I needed an SDS drill. None on the shelf. They had one and only one in the back, so it does help to ask.

Aspiring welder here. This is the best welding video I've ever seen! Informative, simply and logically explained, and funny AF. Got a new subscriber here, thanks!
no one better to tell you about welding than a southern redneck! seriously, I loved this video and it just makes me more impatient to get my own welding station
SIMPLY OUTSTANDING. New to welding, I bought the same HF FLUXCORE 125 unit to learn on. You have made the very best and informative tutorial seen yet. Keep up the great work and thanks! BRAVO!!!

Just got into welding recently with a £107 mig machine something i thought i would never do in my life, but i actually really enjoy it and opens up a whole new chapter of ideas, currently just done a metal gate and fence around the house, next is a 4 meter rolling gate..
I saw the video was 28 min and was like "I'll give it a shot and see how long I make it." figured Id fast forward to the 2 min of info still sitting here wondering how these things work.... 28 min flew by and was intently watching the whole thing. Great video, very instructive but still got to the straight to the point with out any BS. Thank you for the video....
Thank you very much and I appreciate you watching it . I try to make videos like I would want to watch and that takes more work and editing . But people's time is valuable that are watching , so it's worth it to me
Finally a video that was really for beginners ! Was really detailed enough that I have confidence to do it myself. I thank you more then you know . I really needed this for my buisness . You made a difference for someone today 😂
I honestly don't thumbs up many videos. Maybe 2 or 3 a year. Thanks for this video, it was actually worth watching. I wish I could give it more thumbs up.
The absolute BEST beginner instructional video, on any subject, I have EVER seen. I have a similar, Forney, welder. My kids got it for me. I have never welded before. I've always drilled and bolted anything I fabricated. Because of this video, I am absolutely certain I know enough to give that welder a try, being respectful, but not afraid, of it. It is essentially the same machine; all the same specs. Harbor freight is having a sale on welding equipment right now, so I'm going to get me a helmet, some wire, and a flap disc or two, and,, for our anniversary, I'm going to weld my dang bed frame together, to stop all the squeakin'. If you know what I mean ; )
Hey! Thank you. Just saw this. Wasn't looking for a welder, but you got me interested. My S/O now hates you, though, tbh, she's happy I'm looking for one. She loves when im happy. I always love her. And we both love watching your stuff. She says you're extremely interesting!
Hey, nice vid, straightforward and transparent. I really appreciate it as someone who wants to try welding and has stood in front of those cheap HF jobbies quite a few times, not knowing where to start.
I've been welding on and off for most of my adultish life and I certainly wish that I had someone to help break the basic steps down like you just did when I was starting out. I was taught by my brother, who is a structural and mechanical engineer and His teaching methods Typically involved a lot of weld shaming, followed by some very creative name calling. So thank you for taking the time to break things down so that anyone who is interested in doing the things, can at least know how to get started.
Aside from your accent...(which just fine with me) you definitely talk about things so real people can understand....I LIKE THAT....and...YOUR A FUNNY GUY....Who cares what your english about....I UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING....GREAT JOB
This video took some time to create and was one of the best I’ve viewed. Thank you for putting in the time and effort to put it together. I’m not a welder but I’ve been working around it for years and actually learned a lot.
dude! by far you have giving the best explanation of an subject iv heard after watching hundreds videos on hundreds of subjects that i'm finding myself seriously contemplating buying a welding machine. i'm almost afraid to watch your other videos
Thank you very much , I do have one other welding machine videos and I have a bunch of video where I weld . I like to try everything a little without stepping to far out of my niche
I'm going to learn how to weld. I've seen at least a dozen diy weld videos. Yours is by far THE BEST OVERALL VIDEO FOR THE BEGINNER. Thanks. p.s. I now have a Georgia accent....lol

I've been a professional welder for over sixty years and this was a great video for beginners to watch
I really appreciate that . I'm not a professional but I love welding . And I know more skill is needed but I was trying to use the kiss method lol
Keep it simple stupid haha and I'm good at that 😁
I’m only halfway through this video and it’s already taught me more than the last 10 videos I’ve watched combined. I really appreciate your common sense, easy to understand know how. It is definitely help me wrap my head around starting to weld.
Thank you Sir
couldn't said it better myself so thanks for doing it for the no verbalisismites amongst us :) - w resepect from Canada!~
Easily the most informative video I’ve seen on that welder. Thank you so much!
Thank you
Dude, this is exactly what I was looking for.
Watch project farms video on welders the harbor freight titanium nearly beat out a 2k Lincoln welder

Yeah, I tend to be a perfectionist. The saying is something like 'perfection is the enemy of doing'
I have been thinking on taking welding classes, but coming across your channel makes me want to learn and pract at my own pace. Thank you.
@BM-if9zn I really appreciate it , I learned to weld at work and got certified . I don't really weld a lot any more except UA-cam projects . But when I decided to get mine . I watched a lot of different people's videos . It's amazing what you can learn on UA-cam
love this guys video's, you know what I mean.
Extremely informative!!!!! This is one of the best welding videos that I have seen on the Net period!!!! Not only do you
show comparison between different type of welders, but you go over every important detail necessary to make sure
that this particular welder has everything covered to make sure that the finished product turns out like it is supposed to!!!!!
Excellent job my friend, you Totally ROCK!!!!!

How did you make out? Did you weld anything yet?
Couldn’t agree more. Planning on taking the plunge into welding and this was an awesome introduction.
I've bought that exact welder a year or two ago. It's awesome! It's 10x the welder than the Chicago electric one they sell. I've owned both.
Ditto
You know the Chicago welder is AC which isn't that good . The 125 flux is DC like a wide should be
@@FishinNStuff exactly. The titanium makes beautiful welds

This is by far the best video I have seen for a person like me that wants to get in to welding. Thank you.
I purchased the 225 stick/tig and have been amazed how well it welds. Extremely compact at 17 lbs. Handles 1/4" like a champ.
I am from Guyana. Just graduated with a certificate in welding. I have two welding machines. This is the best welding video i have seen on youtube. I am sharing it in my group. Thank you.
Thank you , I really appreciate you doing that too . I made it to just try and make things more simple
I’ve watched tons of how-to and demonstration videos. This is, without a doubt, the best instructional video I’ve ever seen on any subject. Clear, complete explanations of the tool and the process and just enough extra information so you understand the options. Great job.👍
Thank you very much
Great basic, no bs, video for us beginners who want to get into welding. Simple, entertaining and very descriptive!
This are great tips . Especially the ground tip . I have a block of brass I've had a long time for fixing holes . But aluminum is easier to come by
WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT ARE YOU SAYING?
I've always attached ground clamp to the work piece, I'm going to try to a metal table now, see if I don't blow holes in 1 millimetre sheet,....my MIG isn't mega expensive so not designed for really stuff.
Pre heat always can help to
I've been a certified welder for 25 years, and still watch videos of everything because if you think you know it all, your wrong. I kept watching because your accent and comedy was awesome. I've learned more from the new guy than anyone in the questions they ask. I have a 13kw generator with an aray of everlast welders, and a 1200 lb bed slid. Thanks for sharing with the nubies.
Thank you , and thank you for taking your time and leaving such a awesome comment
Thank you for picking my video to watch . It's not the best but it's the best fit the price I think . It's actually 149.00 now
I have one of these and it has done everything I need it to do.
You really did a professional job of teaching about welding . I really enjoy your channel!
i grew up without a dad and for me it feels that ive learned alot about welding because it felt like you were talking to me , and i understood everything
thank you
Your welcome .
I think that's really where that little welder would shine . That's what I'll probably do with mine is use it as a portable welder
From a newb, this is some of the best beginner instruction I have ever seen. There is no assumed knowledge. I teach firearms courses and it's easy to jump too far beyond the level of your students. Well done!
Thank you very much . What you teach is another subject love

@FishinNStuff I believe he was referring to the mechanics' hand tool and equipment. I've seen over the years that harbor freight has gained in quality and durability. I've been surprised a few times how well some tools have performed.
Thank you for the great explanations for us non-welders.

A BIG BLACK EYE FOR HARBOR FREIGHT
I have a Harbor freight TITANIUM FLUX 125 WELDER purchased from Harbor Freight a couple years ago.

Thank you very much. Everything as a novice, that I needed to know. Best UA-cam demo ever!!!
Appreciate the tips! Especially when you break it down to simple so it makes sense! 👍 Thx!
I bought this welder one or two years ago. Just used it today. I’ve never had a weld break and I’m in no way a professional welder. It does the job for what I need.

I have watched at least a couple of hundred videos on car repair, a few on washer/dryer repair, dozens on home repair, and very few of those videos even come close to your level of coherence and are not as cogently presented as yours.
Thank you very much and I appreciate you watching it . I try to make videos like I would want to watch and that takes more work and editing . But people's time is valuable that are watching , so it's worth it to me
Excellent video. Easy to understand and simply explained for this welder Wanna-Be. Many thanks.
Finally a video that was really for beginners ! Was really detailed enough that I have confidence to do it myself. I thank you more then you know . I really needed this for my buisness . You made a difference for someone today 😂
Thank you very much for simplistic but very informative welding tutorial. Very helpful for someone who has never welded but interested in starting.
I honestly don't thumbs up many videos. Maybe 2 or 3 a year. Thanks for this video, it was actually worth watching. I wish I could give it more thumbs up.
This is a very simple tutorial on how to weld. You cannot make it any simpler than this. Thank you Sir.
Thank you and thank her for me , For watching
Hey, nice vid, straightforward and transparent. I really appreciate it as someone who wants to try welding and has stood in front of those cheap HF jobbies quite a few times, not knowing where to start.
I've been welding on and off for most of my adultish life and I certainly wish that I had someone to help break the basic steps down like you just did when I was starting out.
I was taught by
my brother, who is a structural and mechanical engineer and His teaching methods
Typically involved a lot of weld shaming, followed by some very creative name calling.
@@davecruz9893 thank you
I came here for a review of the welder, but stayed for the loads of advice. Thank you sir! You earned my sub
Thank you very much
This video took some time to create and was one of the best I’ve viewed. Thank you for putting in the time and effort to put it together. I’m not a welder but I’ve been working around it for years and actually learned a lot.
I really enjoyed this video and thanks for sharing.
dude! by far you have giving the best explanation of an subject iv heard after watching hundreds videos on hundreds of subjects that i'm finding myself seriously contemplating buying a welding machine. i'm almost afraid to watch your other videos
@ronb8052 lmbo i really appreciate that
I never knew how a welder worked.. Just happened to run across this, and I really appreciate the time and effort that you put into it.
Now you're making me want to go to harbor freight, buy a welder and just start welding stuff!
I made another video of a cool little welder that does 10 different processes . It was also cool
If you tell me the name of that video, I will absolutely check that out.
Very much appreciate you!
