Keep it up you won't be out of shape long. You are where I was eight years ago. Buying raw land and building a homestead is probably one of most satisfying things I have ever done. I am a couple of hours from you I wish I was closer. I am watching this series partially to relive the "fun" times lol

I zig zag down my driveway so nobody can see what is towards the back.

I love that clearing in the middle of the property! It's good to see some progress on your property. Nice work!

Thanks! I love it, too. It is completely surrounded by trees and very peaceful and private. Obviously it will need to be expanded quite a bit for a homesite at some point but for now it will be perfect for an RV.

Thanks! I sure hope so. Getting old sucks and makes it harder and harder to stay in shape.

My friend up in my county, and south of Clayton, OK. I went into the Red Barn and they told me and others to just let them know where my driveway will be. Within two weeks my neighbor got a culvert installed at no charge. It was plastic but was free. Now for me I purchase a 20" round and 20 feet long. They installed mine too

You can rent a stump grinder as a compromise. But driving over the stump from now on should keep it from coming back. Watching you work alone: I have enjoyed working alone, but the longer I plug away at things here at Contentment, the more I enjoy having company to help and to trade work. The wife is here but it's just not the same as having another man around. :-) God Bless.

Nice brother! 🤜🤛 You could turn those stumps into a rocket stove with an auger bit for your drill and cook the kids dinner. Burning them down takes a while but it is less back breaking work. Either way great job man, that is a ton of work. I am hoping to do this in the next couple years. 🤞 Stay blessed, Danny

I thought about it. I just haven't had time to babysit a fire out there. I will try it at some point once I can stay out on the property full time!
