WTF this people saying the lead guitar is bad, goddamn it must be one of a hell of a performance the first guitar it's in it's maximum point, is has all the energy of the song holy shit. Maybe you should buy new headphones or maybe some feelings you don't know nothing about music, Rage, Energy, is all about with this track, first guitar transmit it perfect.

this is probably an unpopular opinion, but i’ve seen Brand New live in person twice and seen countless live videos of theirs, and not i not a single person i know who’s seen them live has ever been of the opinion that they are a great band to see live. i love their music, but they sound WAY better on their recorded albums than they ever have live in concert. kinda sad because they’re one of the most influential bands whose music i quite literally grew up listening to.
I’ve been watching Brand New performances for an hour or so and this seems to be a common thread in the comments sections. I didn’t know it was a thing though. Of course I brought my wife with me to see them once and she wanted to leave half way through
I saw them live at a festival in Chicago years ago! I was actually floored by their performance. I don’t remember the audio well but the contrasting self made melancholy adorned with flowers everywhere, the whole deal. I just had that raw feeling of excitement, of creative adventurous songwriting. They just see every moment as a moment to bloom

The bass player is bored but sounds saucy. The 2nd guitar player is trying to be like Omar from ATDI but his playing is just a mess. Love this band but he ruins them live for me.
