40 min Dumbbell LOWER BODY Workout | Controlled Strength Routine + ABS | Energy Demanding

  • In this 40 min Dumbbell LOWER BODY Workout | Controlled Strength Routine + ABS | Energy Demanding , we will complete 6 bundles, each containing 4 exercises. One exercise will be repeated for 3 rounds, with the other 3 exercises performed in between. At the end of the workout, we will focus on the abdominals with a bundle of 6 exercises. Each exercise will be performed for 40 seconds, with 20 seconds of rest in between and a 30-second rest after each bundle.
    Tip: The amount of weight you use for exercises contributes to the overall intensity of your workout, so please challenge yourself by using a decent amount of weight!

    These are the dumbbells that I am using:
    1x 32KG (displayed as BLACK on the screen)
    2x 18KG (displayed as RED on the screen)
    2x 10KG (displayed as YELLOW on the screen)

    That was a leg’s annihilator!!!😱 That mix of repeat/ no repeat, static/ dynamic and heavy/ not so heavy was perfect to make it super hard and interesting. Very challenging and well conceived.     Was dreading this one. But I ended up really enjoying the challenge. Albeit my heaviest weight is 22kg but plenty heavy for me and my stick legs!

      If you ever feel you could go heavier, get a set of fabric leg bands. The fabric ones are comfortable and won't curl up on you.
      It's what I wear when he is holding 32kg because I don't have a dumbbell that heavy. I don't think I could lift it even if I had one lol.

      haha...well the real reason of the break was my old camera that was not able to record for too long in a row, so I had to make the videos in two takes! but thanks to the Sony cameras there are no shooting limits no more! haha well done!

    Oh man, I don't know if I will be able to walk tomorrow 😂😂😂
    I did a split upper/lower body videos last week and I'm only doing it again this week (I mostly only do full body strength) because my shoulder was sore today from sleeping in a weird position.
    24kg is my heaviest dumbbell so I added a medium strength leg band to up the resistance in the first two bundles
    Romanian DL I upped from my normal 16kg to 17.5kg
    Narrow Squat and Leg Curls, Sumo DL- 17.5kg
    Reverse Lunges I first tried to hold 2X 15kg but I could not get up from the lunge lol. I held 2X 12kg up by my shoulders, but towards the end of each set I had to bring them to my sides and switch to glute-focus by leaning forward a little because my quads were just too exhausted.
    Kick Back/ Side Raises with a dumbbell are new to me... I was able to do them with 10kg.
    That ab section was 🔥 but I really struggled with the Sit-Up Twists out of all of the exercises.
    Weights:
    24kg, 17.5kg, 16kg, 12kg, 10kg
