Hi Steve, I've seen a few videos of this bike now and it looks to be amazing off-road. But how good is it on the road, is it comfortable? If you had to cover let's say 30 or 50 miles on the road before getting to your favorite offroad trail, would you enjoy doing it with this bike?
Tom, they are ok on the road with a few modifications- firstly I would balance the wheels as the rims locks through them way out of balance. Which on the tarmac is unbearable. 30-50 miles is probably as much as I would like to ride on the road without a bit of wind protection.
@@FlorentinoLoco The more time on bitumen the more it will eat the off-road tyres, I tend to change tyres fairly regularly so a bit of bitumen doesn't hurt too much. Obviously if you are doing big miles on the bitumen it will eat them.
It’s hard to explain why it feels lighter- maybe more nimble would be a better description. I have ridden the 350 back to back to a KTM and it is so much easier to turn in on tight tracks. You don’t feel like you have to wrestle it like the 500.
