Most will admit they have once it sounds familiar. Hell, I met The Moody Blues and Trent Reznor of NIN and couldn't have named any of their songs at the time even though I had heard their music and actually liked it. First I wanna say I love your channel and your reactions. This however is my favorite video and reaction. This song holds a special memory for me. I am a US Marine Corps vet and in 1990/1991 I was serving in Desert Storm/Shield. On the first day of the official ground war starting my unit was crossing the border into Kuwait. As we where getting ready to cross the massive mine field that Iraq had placed on the border I started playing this song and listened to it while going across the mine field and into Kuwait for the first time. This song got my adrenaline up and me motivated, but more importantly it gave me something to focus on instead of the mine field. I am know lots of songs carry special meanings for people out there when they hear them and everybody has their own taste in music. Me I love it all and I enjoy seeing people stretching their legs into other music genres. Keep the videos coming and thanks for sharing.

I'm so glad to be born when I was.. 1976, 43 years old with 2 older brothers. I have memories of listening to my mom's music in the car (Beatles, Stones, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac), the birth of hip hop and Sugar Hill then Def Jam (Beastie Boys are my all time favourite group of any genre), then as my older brothers discovered their own musical tastes I was exposed to The Smiths, Depeche Mode, The Cure... Along the way I made friends that introduced me to things like country (still not a favourite genre, but there's more than a few single tracks that are awesome), metal/hard rock. I missed the grunge era in the 90's because I was stuck in a hip hop phase, but again had friends who were into it so I got into it a bit later in life. There just isn't a genre of music I can't find something in that I enjoy.

Its hard rock, there is nothing even remotely resembling rap!
Fuckin' 'bars' in music does not refer to lyrics, bars are part of the musical structure. Each musical line is made up of bars. Each bar has a designated number of beats according to the time signature.
Do you know what I'm talking about?

Yes! Bon Scott, Forever! I love Brian, but, I'm sorry, man. He's not Bon Scott; the bad boy heart of AC/DC. Brian is good, but, to replace that crazy SOB you have to be willing to commit suicide. Brian wants to live too much Can't blame him, but, you can tell the difference. Same with poor Kenny Jones. Not crazy enough to be Kieth Moon. Melissa Etheridge cannot be crazy enough to be Janis Joplin. Robin Trower can't be crazy enough to be Jimi Hendrix. It's not about levels of talent. Brian, Kenny, Robin and Melissa are all fabulously talented, but, there is something about the terminally self-destructive that resonates with us mere mortals. We loved them so much! They showed us other worlds we never dreamed existed, but, there was a price to be paid for that ability. Unfortunately, it couldn't be any other way. ALL gods are jealous. The music gods are no exception. Thank goodness we have recordings so they can live forever.
      Stay safe Be well
