I think it would of been best to integrate a quick release to each of the adapters...otherwise you are pulling the whole adapter out of the ratchet to change a socket.

16mm+ isnt pass through because the inner walls of the socket would be too thin at that point to be durable. They went as far as they could having them open, and its not a key feature of the tool, just an added bonus, so im happy even a few of them are pass through

the insider or the m12 fuel 1/2? ii just bought the1/2 since i have a full set of sockets in that size. i am a DIYer and work on my own cars. i had purchased a makita switchable inserts and i hated the fact i lost the 1/4 anvill... i like the power of the 1/2 when working on suspension...just want to get a little more insight to see if its better to return and get the insider instead...

Hey there, sorry are you asking if this is the insider m12 or 1/2 ratchet. It's the insider just released a few months ago. Regarding suspension work the milwaukee right angle m12 impact would be the right choice for that application. Although they can be used for that job that's not their specific use.

@@DocsPropShop hey im sorry i worded that terribly. i recently purchased the 2558-20 M12 FUEL 1/2 in. ratchet since i have a full 1/2 socket set. i have a lot of 3/8 items though, and i was wanting to know your opinion the insider is a better buy. i like the idea of being able to use what i have but im worried the insider doesnt have as much power as the 1/2. which of the two, in your opinion is the better buy?

@dsb713 there are pros and cons to the insider, I wouldn't say it's an all in one no. Although having the same torque it definitely has less power then a standard 1/2. He's also with socket and extention The weight makes the adapters loose and fall out.

Correct it's not. Average take home for a mechanic in California is 75k to 110k a year, $299 is easy money.

I'm surprised no one is calling you broke as if they got bags of cash.

@MrScumbag I'm surprised to see mechanics complaining about a tool thats well priced. That will make them lots of money over the years. But then again seeing how poorly auto mechanics are payed $17 to $25 hourly it's kinda sick.
