The Professor uses KL/r and λ interchangeably which is confusing. IS uses these two separately.

Hasan Shirazi yes one is effective slenderness ratio and the other is slenderness ratio. I think in earlier code, lambda was KL/r.

KL/r is normal slenderness ratio and other lambda is non dimensional slenderness ratio
