She started throwing stuff at the cashier. The woman recording tried to talk to her, but she turned her attack on her. So she started recording to defend herself and get evidence. That’s the point where the video starts. You can tell he the way the other customers were indifferent to her tantrum that she was in the wrong and tried to play victim. It was really sad to watch. The person who pulled out the phone was the first to pull out the phone and start recording, and start shaming. The swatting of the phone was a subconscious reaction, thousands of people will do it. The guilt and hurt of her pride knowing what she had done, and realizing that now she could be "threatened" with video evidence, that she made an attack on an innocent woman, made her feel horrible. Every response to that was a reaction to feeling horrible. I feel sorry for the woman.

we had to fire a kid a few years back for saying "merry christmas", The karen asked for his manager, when I showed up, she asked for my manager. @@Neveko Karen bitched and moaned pretty far up the chain of command. Kid looked real middle-eastern and was super unapologetic. Lotta people didn't like him, he had an aura of "hate me" about him. He was far from our best associate, but by no means our worst. We survived losing him, but the whole thing taints ur soul, makes you lose faith in society.

Abigail Ephick, the person you are commenting about, actually is acutely autistic and has a hard time navigating social situations. She works with mentally challenged children as an occupation and is a beautiful person. I know, because I am close friends with a relative of Abbies’. There seems to have been a unintentional offense when Abby happened to be in Ms. Ukentas personal space and the situation spiraled out of control, leading to Ukenta filming Abby and sending her into a panic attack (she doesn’t like being filmed). Obviously Abby is not capable of calming herself down and it should be apparent to any sane and sensible person that she is “on the spectrum” and not some vitriol spewing hate monger “Karen” as everyone is referring to her as. So anyone out there who feels like they have the right to disparage and harass an individual who is mentally ill and in a state of fear/panic and extremely vulnerable, think again.
