As an ex-food service worker...in a mall...I dealt with a hand full of "Karens" and male Karens- or "Kevins" which I call them -before.
From people yelling at me because I can't focus when it's too loud, to people leaving their lit cigar in our trash can because they decided to come in looking for a pretzel the second we close, working at a mall is such a stressful experience I went through...on top of still going to school during the weekdays which means I barely had a break. 😫

Honestly, living with karens is so odd. Their behavior is very different at home, at least in my experience. I mean, I didn't even realize they were karens until a few years ago. My dad went NUTS over face masks in 2020, and my nana is the type to say passive aggressive, rude, judgy shit to service workers if she's even mildly inconvenienced. But aside from some mild entitlement, they act totally normal at home. And about the dinner bit, they absolutely do talk about it at home. They'll rant about how some stranger was just SO RUDE and INCOMPETENT and AWFUL, and they'll make themselves sound like good guy, like they were just defending themselves. They'll make their victims sound like the real karens. It's honestly kinda scary just how deluded they can be. And even with all that, they're SAINTS compared to the karens in this video, so I can't even imagine how much worse those people are.
