Eva Gabor was a real lady and actually performed first aid on my grandmother. Grandma was a cook at the Racquet Club, a very exclusive club in Miami during the 1960s. While cooking one night, she burned herself badly and screamed out. Eva was in the restaurant and heard her and ran into the kitchen and bandaged grandma up. Grandma was so proud of that moment and told me how much of a lady Eva was and how kind she was to her.
Miss Eva not only voiced Miss Bianca, The Rescuers but she was also the glamorous Duchess, The Aristocats.
Oh honey, Miss Bianca from The Rescuers? She’s *e v e r y t h i n g*. Her only articles of clothing are a fur pillbox hat and a beautiful shawl, both in the same stunning shade of lilac. She was out there doing humanitarian work and search & rescues, and looking FABULOUS while doing so.

I watched Zsa Zsa’s trial on Court Tv back in the day…modern true crime doesn’t hold a candle to Court Tv from the 90s.
These women were famous for being whip smart and fast in conversation, they'd be lethal together and stood their ground alone, there was nothing you could throw at them. It seems an art that no longer really exists, their speak at the table was top level, hilarious, comebacks like dirt, nothing fazed them.
For iconic blondes I'd love to see Brigitte Bardot or Jane Fonda in Barbarella.

If there's anything positive to say about growing up, is realizing that some stuff from childhood is even cooler than you thought, or understanding why it's cool. Like getting old enough to realize how awesome it is we got Eva Gabor and Bob Newhart in The Rescuers.
