The glamorous RuPaul look that is her iconic signature is thanks to Mathu Anderson and Zaldi. They don’t get enough credit, especially Mathu.
Ru just used them both !! They created the " Monster" as he called it !! Ru could never paint the way Mathu did, nor do what Zaldi did, which was Everything !! He really owes so much to the two of them !!

You are so right about how different wigs look on the styling head versus on... I remember the first wig I styled and it looked totally normal height on the stand and then I got it on my head and broke down laughing at how huge it looked!

I Love these videos, Jaymes! I worked for MAC back when this campaign launched. Fun Fact: Nordstrom was FREAKED about the original campaign that saw Ru spelling out VIVA GLAM with her body because of the pose they used for the letter "M". They required MAC to create another version of the campaign collateral specifically for Nordstrom locations without the use of the original imagery.

Gorgeous hair as always! Good history lesson, too. I think sometimes the drag race fans don’t give Ru enough credit for the time he spent as a starving artist. He knows how to hustle. It’s not fair to see him discredited because the show has been such a success for him.
