I was born and lived in a house 100 yards down from Terry Venable's Dad's pub Sewardstone Rd in Chingford. Much later on I remember being with family at a pub in High Beach, just down the road from where Terry's Dad's pub is. I think my Dad went over and spoke to Terry who always seemed open to talk to fans and strangers. That would have been late 80s.

Thanks Kisbie for very good documentary on Terry Venables. Good insight into his playing career and success in management. Deep thinker on the game as well as a good player. Nice look into his early London days.

Just hope the move to the new stadium won't upset Terry's progression. You can never be 100% certain but I think Levy has unearthed a gem I reckon.

Great documentary.
At 39.50 it is claimed QPR went on a run of 12 wins in 13 games when he joined as manager in 1980.
Not so.
Venables first 13 games in charge of QPR

In fact I can't find any run of 12 in 13 wins in QPR history!
There is a run of W10 D2 L1 in the autumn of 1982. That's as close as it comes.

Terry enables knew nothing about football...recond every tournament England were favorites thatBeckham was the best player in the world and that Ronaldhinos goal against England was a fluke but only Beckham could of scored that goal on purpose.....lol what a muppet
