*Pulls up in canoe*, "oh hi, let me tell you about speakers."
i love taking one of my studio monitors that costs 1000s of dollars on my kayak as well. i thought i was the only one!
hahahahahahahahaha
More like 3000
Came here to comment this. The 8351/61 is my favorite speaker outside of Kii. I just can't help but to laugh my head off every time I see an image of a Genelec at a camp site or in a canoe! bahahaha Who tf thought this was a good marketing image? Too funny.
Haha!!
The B-roll shots...I just can't lololol I, too, love taking my $4,000+ monitors with me whilst canoeing on a lake bahahahahaha
Impressive! Respect Genelec team!!!
Beautiful video
I have a pair of 8341s with GLM for ultra near monitoring in a small space. They are amazing.
I am in love with 8260A and went to hear them and 8351A together couple of years ago. The shop however only had 8351A and also 8341A. I ended up preferring the sound of 8341A big time over 8351A and in my mind they are the best smaller near-fields out there. Today I found out that 8361A were released and would like to hear them together with 8260A one day and for sure have one or another in my house:-) Prefer 8260A over the Adam S3X-V that I have. You have amazing pair of monitors and I am sure these new subs is something you are considering selling other hardware for and throwing away some furniture to make them fit:-D
Excellent
They 8361 is impressive. I imagine it's a bit better for imaging since it's acoustically "triaxial," but the frequency response graphs don't seem quite as flat and it doesn't go quite as low as the 8260, which is still a marvel of modern speaker engineering.
I just ordered a pair of 8352B's, they are just sooo ahead of the rest...
Why do all these videos have a period at the end of the video title?
Because it is the end of a sentence.
I get more excited hearing Aki and Tom talk than Tim Cook.
I hear all the reflextions.. its a boon and bane at the same time. If you cannot treat a room the way you want it it can make you crazy
Ok, so what to expect upgrading to the 8331a compared to my 8030c’s? In a proper balanced and acoustically treated Room? Will it be a big improvement? Or just a tiny bit better? The price gap between them is fairly big but i cant imagine the sound difference being as big………. I am ok to invest if its a huge difference but I simply cant be sure how it will sound in my Room. Cheers and maybe one day i have the “Ones” hahaha😊
How about using these in regular living room ?
hello, I am from Wuhan, China, yes, unfortunately the ground zero of covid, but i love genelec and own two pairs of them. still can't find better sound after these years. do u know where can i find audition of the ones near Wuhan? thanks! and good job!

genelec.china@genelec.com, they should be able to help you out. Good luck!
北京国贸就可以试听 还有北京真力代理公司 不过他们正在装修 一两个月以后估计才能试听 。国贸具有杜比环绕和2.0试听,手机蓝牙投放
🤘🏽, it will be nice if you come up with some type of trade in program for already Genelec’s owners and non Genelec’s owners, just a thought 💭
great idea - support Genelec customers & offer an upgrade program for old monitors
@@FlashGrover SVS offers an upgrade service within the first year... us simple folk like it. They also do a five years, no questions asked fully transferable warranty on ALL parts. This to me, knowing everything is now made in CHINA, is just a no brainer way to go since all of these active speaker amps are liability. For monitors, I have my eye on those HEDD Type 20's
@HECTOR JUNIOR if you dont want them you can give them to me :p jk
HECTOR JUNIOR I have one too. I think it was worth every penny!!
I just move my older Genelecs to other rooms. Even my Television set has a pair lol.
I'm loving the imaging of my JBL 104s. Coaxial designs make the best nearfield monitors IMHO. I just wished it was 3 way and can handle higher SPL without introducing distortion.
anyone know what desk that is @ 1:48
