The number of "The learjet was a copy of this" posts on reddit and the forums had me wondering if they were all satire or not, then when I saw people arguing about it .... yeah .... the Internet can be a wild place ....
The CCRP (and bombs in general) have been bugged since the new update. Bombs will visually drop miles from where they actually hit, which is luckily only visual, but LGBs are massively bugged and sometimes don't actually guide until a second or so from the ground
Hey, even though it's just the first tier support, I just wanna let you know I really appriciate your videos, you are the first and probably only YT channel I even thought about supporting, keep it up as long as you can Tim
Also interesting knowing this is the first user made premium (There are other user made TT veichles), I guess if you really want it you got to make it yourself.
I was going to make a comment about this. It seems to me that Tim needs to change his uploading times so his videos go live when there's more people and therefore, more views
I wasn't intending to do a whole vid about it, but in short I'm very underwhelmed. The bonus should be larger, and not capped to a set number of missions.
2:16 The wings and tiptanks are literally the same layout and shape as on the Learjet 23. Not to mention two prototypes were displayed right next to the Learjet.
@@TimsVariety I really don't know why you call this drama and rumors to be honest. Flug- und Fahrzeugwerke Altenrhein AG (FFA) worked on the SAAC-23 Execujet that would become the Learjet 23 together with Lear Sr.'s Swiss American Aviation Corporation (SAAC). Look up Hans-Luzius Studer, you will see his design language in the P-16, SAAC-23 and HFB 320. Again literally the same wings "Weitere Entwicklungsarbeit in der Schweiz leistete Hans-Luzius Studer, der das Kampfflugzeug FFA P-16 der Flug- und Fahrzeugwerke Altenrhein konstruiert hatte, von dem weitgehend die Tragflächen übernommen wurden. Das Projekt erhielt dann die Bezeichnung SAAC-23."
@@FirstDagger you answered why I call it drama, and I did mention that a lot of the same engineers worked on both. I mentioned there are rumors because as soon as this plane was announced the forums and reddit were full of posts claiming that the early learjet was an exact copy. It obviously isn't. In the end, we're splitting hairs VERY thin here and its a distinction without a difference.
If an A-4, F-84, Hunter, Barougan and Sagittario had a fivesome. A-4 style intakes, F-84 wings and elevators, Hunter profile, Sagittario guns and Barougan landing gear.
I escaped WT however, this might sound weird but im just honest, Tim your videos with your voice are smth i always go to. I think your voice would be perfect for history documentations.
ANY chance? Yes. A good chance? No. The only metric they look at is "views per vid in the first month", and I just can't compete with the screaming-head meme channels for quick views. The most recent time I applied for that level of partnership, I didn't even hear back.
@@TimsVariety Here's hoping you get one sooner rather than later. You do great work on this channel. I always enjoy the historical context you give for each vehicle and the reviews are well organized.
The Snail is a monkey paw. When you want BR decomp they RAISE the A-10.... then ADD another one a full BR up. lolz 11.3 your A-10 is no match for my f14 / F15
and the flip side is that your barely-transonic jet without flares is no match for AIM-9M .... unfortunately they keep giving ground pounder jets air to air weapons WAY above their meta, which makes people take them out as fighters, ruining matches for everyone else. Everyone disagrees with me on this, because "realism", but if they just gave the later Su-25s and A-10s slightly worse air to air missiles (like, just stuck to the R-60s and AIM-9Js or something) most of the balance problems with them would go away.
This thing reminds me of the F-104, Hunter F.6, and the F-84 all at the same time.
It does have a hunter engine funny enough
It looks like the special little brother to the F-104.
With fetal alcohol syndrome
"F-104 at home"
More like F84 at home
Nah son the special needs sibling of the Starfighter is actually the U-2.
It looks like hunter from a alternate universe.
Also nice reference at 8:37 to the only surviving one X-HB-VAD.
3:17 don't you mean Swiss :p
The Swedish designation for the 9B is the RB24
Great video as always!
it is swiss
Yeah, flubbed the line. Whoops. :-)
"Learjet was not a copy of P-16".
Gee, who could have guess that a business jet wouldn't be a copy of a single-seat fighter.

hunter and f84 night of passion

I can't even access the CCRP in the FFA16?
There's certain charm in these flat-nosed early jets, and i can't help myself but have warm fuzzy feelings about them!

Thank you so much!
I was waitin for this one
Never been this early, I always appreciate the history overview of the planes before the review. May have to pick this one up in the Christmas sales
Not sure if it needed to be pointed out in the video, though might've been a nice call-out that it was done by players.
The Swiss language because if you thought english was confusing hold my sauerkraut... (hastily crams French, German and Italian together)
LOVE YOU TIM
Also interesting knowing this is the first user made premium (There are other user made TT veichles), I guess if you really want it you got to make it yourself.
If memory serves, a few of the lower tier aircraft premiums were also community made 3d models.
Great content as always, Tim!
Hi Tim have a wonderful day
You too buddy!
Tim back at it again with the insomniac releases

I yearn for a day when 9.x isn’t suffering incarnate due to compression
Tim, we look forward to hearing your impressions of the bonus XP.
I wasn't intending to do a whole vid about it, but in short I'm very underwhelmed. The bonus should be larger, and not capped to a set number of missions.
@@TimsVariety The bonus is actually a bit small, but at least they gave 5 uses. And they don't block the top tier.
Tim cute plane like your voice .....🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉I

and the JF-17 has the same wing design as the F-16, but it doesn't mean the entire plane is a copy.

I think it’s so damn ugly and I love it for that 10/10

3:17 ya mixed up swiss and swedish there
Yes, I know, flubbed a line, a bunch of others already mentioned it.
