I like it! Going back to the very basics. These videos help more than people realize when you are just getting into the hobby. 3 years ago I didn’t even know how to turn the machine on let alone what pin point meant…lol. I’d say 90% of everything I know now was from watching videos like this & then gradually advancing over time. Keep it up man!
Cal, I have been at this awhile and when the snow melts, I STILL spend a whole day pinpointing clad a few towns over to get back in the groove. I'm fortunate to live in an area where I can pay for my detector with a few lucky swings. I can't believe how much a 1796 Liberty cap half cent in good shape sells for (-;. It wouldn't with a big scratch !!!
🤔 Interesting 🤔 tones 🤔
I noticed too. hmm🤔
Hey Calabash, these videos are excellent and will really help out all the newbies out there! Very well explained! Keep em coming 😁
Thanks, will do!

That new camera looks great! Great informative video for the new detectorist.
Thanks 👍
I have never use the pinpoint feature on the d1 or the d2 they are so easy to pinpoint with just moving the coil back until the target disappears
I thought about that way after the edit so I let it ride with the 2 techniques ...
Pin pointing that way also will let you know if it is a bottle cap most of the time.
I will do a video about tips and tricks later and include it.
The D2,is so good just wiggle the coil backwards until it stops
True!
