The first thing I noticed is the "Lakshmi intolerant" achievement after finishing this dungeon. Lol. Thanks for the explanation! You really help me relieve my tankxiety!
If you tend to forget things (like me) just use vril right away when she has chandala on her and again each time after you got hit (and thus loosing vril). since the vril buff is 50sec long you pretty much cant use it too early.
Something overlooked but damn is it important. During the preultimate add phase, tanks need to pick up the archers as priority. Mages don't do a lot of damage and their big threat is Water III which ignores the enmity table but the archers hit like a truck. DPS need to spread their damage to prime the adds so ignoring archers gets DPS killed.
I have a recomendation for the videos: When you say what each of the members should use, you can put the simbol of the unit that need to use it and the simbol of the button they need to press. This will make it easier to learn the actions of each members.

Hi Mizzteq, I was wondering how you record your footage for your guides, I'm just trying to record any kind of gameplay from FF14 and while it plays back fine in ANY video player the instant I put it in an editing program the video gets choppy and is impossible to work with. DO you have any suggestions?
You realize she's referring to the Path of Light mechanics that targets the 2nd highest in the enmity list, meaning she's specifically saying that the OT needs to work to make sure that they are 2nd on the enmity list. Obviously the MT "should be top on the enmity list"...but I'm pretty sure she meant what I said, but just said it in less words.
PROTIP: If your group kills the adds correctly and everyone survives the ultimate, commend folks in Party chat with, "We did a Vril-y good job!" Everyone will yell at you.
yea, there is no way this fight and Susano ex are possible with the duty finder unless you are extremely lucky and get top players.The fights are too much mechanic heavy for casuals to handle. So unless you have a static or a good fc you are screwed...
the main problem of Duty Finder is that people don't want to take the time necessary to learn how their party operates specifically. Going into a fight with different party composition is difficult and people wipe once or twice and they automatically assume it's hopeless rather than taking the time to talk it out and work on a consistent strategy that works for all the group
I cleared all my Susano EX fights with Duty Finder. Since last weekend I cleared it 5 times via DF already. FC Leader prefers Party Finder but I haven't cleared it once through PF. Not saying that my experience works for everybody but for me DF works way better than PF.

You don't. The idea behind an enraged attack is you're meant to kill the boss before it gets to that point. It's meant to be a check so that your DPS are putting out enough damage and the Tanks and Healers are keeping everyone alive long enough for that damage to be put out.
Got love summoners and bard doting the adds then they die, but i get blame for killing them because they say Black mage burst too op. Even though i stop attacking them 10 seconds ago (because i am getting lots of aggro hate)
Osto 19 it's the equivalent of kilometers or miles in Final Fantasy...so if your ability says you have to be 6 yalms from the target that is the distance you need to be from them.
This guide is worse than some of your other guides. You usually provide all the details in the guide, but a lot of this guide require us to go back and view the normal mode guide to even understand this one, which is quite unfortunate.:\

Just because something happens on your server doesn't mean it happens on all servers yanno? and learning this type of content through DF is literally impossible, unless they've opened it up to df from release which never happens to ex primals and i've just not noticed. I think you missed the point of my original post though, I was merely explaining why I felt TheNade made their comment, I have no issues with guides and Mizzteq does them extremely well.

It also helps those of us who use controllers without R3 (my Saitek RF P2600 doesn't have that).

Not only do the yellow AoEs heal you while you have Vril, any attack she does while she is not in Chanchala will heal you if you have Vril.

Vril dissipates immediately once she uses a move during her Chanchala form.
