I'm amazed at the patience being shown by the shop owner and technicians who are helping in the rebuilding of them quite amazing VW bus. The build quality is second to none and in the end you'll have such a great vehicle - and plenty of memories. More important are the many new friends you've made along the way. Congratulations to both of you!
Just went to all German car show and the best of show was a bus like yours..

That has got to be the easiest to build and use rotisserie design I’ve seen. One man operation using a spreader and chain block. Awesome explanation/theory dent repair ripple in the water. The force is strong.

Robert must be the coolest guy out there. I know this kids love and comitment cant be questioned, but how amazing is Robert to let Mitch have run of house not just of the shop and his guys but open his home to these beautiful kids. Cudos to Robert and his crew.

It is amazing how a vehicle that was originally built as inexpensive and meant for a basic utilitarian life is subject to a 2,000-hour restoration! No wonder how they become $200,000 plus at auction. Compared to the vast numbers made, just a small percentage still exist. Of the small percentage of survivors, only a small percentage of those go on to concours level restoration projects like MicBergsma.

what a great group of guys and gal. talk about knowing every inch of your ride...good job all, even if it ain't mine, still fun watching the transformation. using heat to try and straighten things only makes it worse I was told that many yrs ago by and old fella (when I was young) doing alignment, he said if you ever see 'em using heat (torch) go elsewhere.

I’ve been watching this project and always anticipate the next video. I like seeing the eye protection and respirators worn however I cringe at all the exposed skin and flip flops. I see at 24:00 that pants, shoes and socks are worn. This is a bit safer and I feel less anxiety. Looking forward to next video!
