Just discovered your channel and definitely subscribed now. I have been hesitant on what handheld to finally commit to, the refurbished decks are tempting and im considering it more after finding this channel.
This video was squishy not clicky. I actually love squishy buttons with a nice feedback thud to register. I don't like clicky, makes me feel like im playing with a toy and makes way too much noise and too loud annoys my wife and friends. So this is perfect
Really nice video! I’m wondering what your opinion is on the consistency and quality of game rumble on all of the different Steam Decks that you’ve owned? My OG 512gb SD has pretty bad “rattle” that comes from the left side of the deck and I’m interested to know if you’ve experienced something similar on any of them?
I don’t see the post about the giveaway in the community tab :/ do I have to become a member? Hope to be entered in! I am subbed! Would love to win! Btw GREAT vid! Very in depth and easy to follow!
The Ally runs windows, so all your Steam library will run, within the limits of the hardware of course. On the other hand Valve seems better committed to updates and optimizations for Steam Deck.
I’d actually say if your travelling you’d be fine with just a Steamdeck and also a phone with emulators installed for smaller games, since now iPhones have Delta, don’t need to carry as much anymore 👌
2:14 I've used my OLED outside no issue without the etched glass. I don't understand the hype about it TBH, it looks so bad. My friend ordered her OLED through me with the etched glass because they don't sell it in her country (yet?), so I used hers for a day before I packed it back up and shipped it, and my God she may as well have ordered the LCD etched glass it looked so bad. I compared them side by side with the same exact games and I was so glad I judged the etched glass correctly from reviews. The glare is not that bad on the OLED that it warrants wasting the point of OLED screens themselves. However if they switch to whatever Samsung did for the S24 Ultra to reduce the glare I will pick that option on the SD2.
All the changes you did with the steam deck 64gb makes it a better deck and cheaper upgrade compared to the one you buy it at the steam store, but you need to know what you are doin.
I regret my lcd deck, wish I waited and got a legion go instead. Worst part is the legion wasn’t to much more $$ than the lcd when I bought it, granted I got the 512g version.
sometimes "squishy, not clicky" is all i need to know about buttons
Drink a shot every time he says "squishy not clicky" 😂
Hammered 🔨
You'd be drunk in under a minute 🤣
Underrated gem of a UA-camr. Did not notice the sub count was as low as it looked. This deserves way more subs
Thanks! Welcome aboard 🚢
Video quality is just amazing and this channel deserves more recognition.
Hey thanks, comments like this help!
I love my steam deck and how it performs. Truly a gem and under rated
To be honest, if you are able to save a bit more money, I would recommend opting for an OLED display.
Agreed

I'm quite a fan of good squishy buttons!
I just bought an 512gb LCD version that’s immaculate for $300 used in town. It even had some extras. 🎉 just picked up an SD card on Amazon too.
That's actually a pretty good deal. I'm opting for the OLED model, but if I found someone selling an LCD model for $300 today, I'd jump on it.

Just stumbled across this channel, really well made videos, subbed!
Welcome aboard!
Wow that teal modded switch is so cool 🔥
It did turn out very well!
Dang you made me want to buy a steamdeck and I already have one.
I subscribed just as I watched the intro. Feels like the real deal.
It is, my basement is freaken full and I need to do something with these things!
I wish i could get a handheld. But cant afford one😢
The etched anti glare screen is literally fuzzy compared to the regular glossy screen
It looks good in real life, it's tough to capture on camera

Great video 🤘 subscribed
Where i live, both the steam deck and rog ally are selling at the same price. Which one would be the better pick??
Personally I like the deck better I returned my Ally.
The Ally runs windows, so all your Steam library will run, within the limits of the hardware of course.

is more powerful rog ally (Z1XTREME)
deck is better console, easy and around 2-8 hours battery
What is the game with the stealth mouse shown on 5:09 ?
Defo interested in the holo stand
Step 1: Have 700 dollars. Step 2: There isn't one.
STEAM LCD is a option for 400$
Step 1 buy an ROG Ally
Step 2 turn TDP to 30W
Step 3 connect power cable
Step 4 enjoy Couch gaming (or 40min on-the-go)
No touch pads no proper valve support 👎@@marios.2975

Trying to win the teal deck for my big brother. We dont get to see each other and we both have kids so buying one is out of question lol.
Deck Oled is the best and most comfortable handheld.
I agree, I wish they did a BTS on how they made the deck.
Wish more ppl had decks
Bruh if I hear squishy not clicky one more time I stg
video is awesome except squishy, not clicky!
Exceptionally squishy...

Hook me up with that teal deck !

how does a video is at the same time squishy, not clicky and clicky, not squishy
I prefer creeky and squeaky buttons
pls, told name and series your watches -_-
The variety of textures in the kislux pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
Not sure what that is...
Steam Deck!
As someone who has both a steam deck and legion go. Step 1 buy the legion go.
Choose me for the give away for the steam deck pleaseeee my parents don’t make slot and I’m too young to have a job plzzzzz everyone like this
