It is so fun and thrilling. It looks like the first hill is the only thrilling part of it but the whole ride is a thrill. You are getting some air time in almost all of the ride

This is low-key the best ride at the park. SO smooth, so much air time, a nice long ride, it's just straight hill hopping and the first drop is great.

@@aridowney4822 sometimes when you are a single rider in a group of people you kinda need your phone to find your group when you get off the ride and no one wants to leave a phone in one of the loose article bins to be stolen.... Unless you have money to blow no one's paying that kind of money for a locker just for their cell phone so...... You put it in your pocket and hope for the best 🤷 I've had my phone in my pocket every ride this year and haven't lost it but sometimes crap happens

My dumbass only saw the part out front and didn’t see the big drop. This was my first roller coaster and I was sooo nervous. I went on with my dad and he was nervous too. For all the drops and stuff (especially the big drop) I was in the air for most of the time because the thing wouldn’t click any further
I went on today and let me tell you it’s the most intense roller coaster I’ve Been on the first drop is insane and the airtime on this ride is out of this world it’s amazing but be prepared because it’s no joke
This rollercoaster has the first biggest drop out of any roller coaster in the world it's insane and I do not recommend it and I've been on Plenty of roller coasters

Velocicoaster has stronger airtime, Iron Gwazi has stronger airtime and a stronger drop, Maverick has stronger airtime and has a stronger drop, El Toro has stronger airtime and a stronger drop, Fury 325 is taller, Top Thrill Dragster was taller, Orion is taller, Leviathan is taller, Millenium Force is taller and Steel Vengeance has stronger airtime and a stronger drop. Believe me, there are coasters that are way scarier than Mako.

I went on this 10 times while I was at sea world. It's crazier than you think, you only have a bar that goes around your waist.

I'm petite and I questioned if the lap belt would hold me in the first time I rode it 😂 as soon as I felt like I was coming out of my seat I started questioning my life choices for a split second

@@Gigachad_69_420 I know it's called air time and it's safe lol I have anxiety and my brain questions everything I do constantly i always check my own harness or lap belt twice and probably look extremely terrified to everyone one else but after the coaster gets going my broken brain becomes silent and I enjoy the moment......... I've rode mako at least 20x now along with every other coaster at SeaWorld and Busch gardens including falcons fury which was the hardest one to convince myself to just get on it and I would be ok.... I did it and I didn't regret it my legs were shaking the whole way up and we're jello by the time we reached ground again but worth it

SheiKra and Mako are both 200 feet tall. However, there isn't a coaster in the state that's taller so the park is correct in promoting Mako as the tallest (as well as the longest and fastest) coaster in Florida.

PotatoGiraffe nothing wrong with being scared. I would consider myself an enthusiast yet I'm always afraid of the next step up. Haven't done anything above 100 feet yet so I'm terrified of a hyper like this (or closer to home The Big One) but I'm confident I would try it whenever I go

My sisters seat unbuckeld near the end before the ride stopped and we haven’t gone on a coaster since then... shes alive though luckily!!!!
All coaster restraints are locked magnetically, with a physical locking mechanism, or hydraulically (in this case), so they will keep you in no matter what. Some even have redundant seat belts, meaning the seat belt is basically useless.

That drop though, when it dropped I literally thought it was the end for me because I thought the coaster got off the tracks cause it was going way to fast
Don't worry there are others faster like diamond back ttd and kdk ( King da Kah) and formula Rossa goes 149 mph compared with mako it's 70 mph

It looks good but not the best. Take this with a grain of salt because the only big coaster I’ve ridden so far is El Toro. I’m planning to go to Knott’s Berry Farm next year, Universal Studios Orlando, Seaworld, Hersheypark, and Dorney Park in 2021. Hopefully I’ll go to at least 3 of these parks.

The lap bar is cleverly located a little lower down your lap which contributes to the fear factor.

Went on it today. It’s so much better in the back seat. Especially if you don’t make the lap bar to tight against you (not saying loose just don’t tighten it so much that it’s ... tight lol)
I'm not a big coaster fan and I went on it with my daughter because it seemed like it would be tame. I did NOT realize it was over 200' tall. At the crest of the lift hill I turned to my daughter and said "I'm never going on this again" and then promptly lost my ability to speak for a few seconds. In hindsight, I'll go on it again. Later. Just not that day.

I went on this ride and it I almost fainted. I closed my eyes the entire time
If you ever want to ride this twice in one day. Make sure to make seperate time slots. You can feel disorieted. Oh and dont eat before going on it (youll see why riding it)
I got on this because and I thought I was gonna die because I’m really small but I kept getting on it multiple times and it wasn’t as bad

I was afraid of roller coasters when I was around 12, went on this, it changed my life, it was FUCKING AWESOME
I rode this last night and I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I had never heard of or seen this ride before. As we climb to the first drop I was like of this is going to be fun...maaaaaaan it was a monster. Every drop is pure weightlessness and you feel like you're free falling and it felt like there was no bottom. Just when you think you're safe here comes another and another. I felt my soul leave my body a few times. Even the small drops give you that gut wrenching feeling. Finally it came to an end. As we departed to go check the photos my legs were shaking and my knees were buckling. I look to the screen and I could clearly see myself calling on Jesus. 🤣🤣🤣🤣💀
Looking forward to another visit to SeaWorld in Orlando next month. Love this coaster!

I rode this 16 times STRAIT once the second we were done we headed back in line to ride it no rests but there was like no line so...
Did this ride a month ago, scared the cr@p out of me. Thought I was coming out of the seat ever time we went over a hill. I held on like my life depended on it. I am serious, I thought I was going to be thrown from the ride. I could not enjoy it because of that fear.

Just got out of Seaworld today. Was not what I expected. Drop wasn’t too bad. I rode penguin trek twice when the park opened, then kraken twice then manta, then mako. The only mistake was when I clinched my bottom and stomach at the same time I was putting my legs under neath my seat, causing me to pull some muscles, but it went away after I got out of the mako exit. Other than that, this was way better than I expected. I would highly recommend you do this if you follow my plan of attack.
When I first rode this my lips were so freaking chapped after the ride. That’s because it was winter time

I just rode this for the first time last week and it absolutely blew me away! I've been on Nitro (2 yrs ago) and Diamondback (9 years ago) but this one edges them out for pure smoothness and sense of speed. Great airtime except for the trims which do hold it back a tad too much. Front row ride is one of my favorite experiences ever on a coaster!
What you don't get in this video is that disconcerting feeling from being held in your seat by a small triangle over your waist/crotch area. No harness or belts or anything on this terror. That first hill where you feel zero-g is terrifying without shoulder restraints!
