Zero g's on every hill! The third hill is my personal favorite. They are shaped perfectly like parabolic arches, mimicking the exact path that an object at that exact speed would take if flying freely through the air. It was designed that way on purpose, which is how it gives the perfect zero-G floating effect on every hill. I'm also always amazed at how LONG the floating is sustained on each hill also! You're literally out of your seat as much as you're in your seat, over the course of the ride.
This ride was so scary yet fun. It felt like forever getting up to the top. I closed my eyes three times and every time I opened them we were still going up haha
When the coaster first opened, there were signs all the way up that first hill: "You are now as high as the Eiffel Tower", "You are now as high as Niagara Falls", etc.
Last month there was a deer eating grass under the track of the second drop. He was used to it because he didnot budge or look up the 3 times we passed him.
Screaming is both part of the ride and believe it or not, good for you! At least from what I hear. When you're on a coaster, you don't mind the screams because you're either screaming yourself, or enjoying the coaster too much. I do agree on videos the screams can get quite annoying, but it can't be helped sometimes.
This coaster is simply one of the best. There are some larger and faster out there, but the small lap restraint on Nitro seems like its made for the tea cups not a massive roller coaster. Obviously it is safe but it is the perfect design to make you feel like you are just sitting in a chair with no restaint at all. It definitely adds to the experience. The initial drop is just massive also. And the scenery of being above the pine barren trees is just awesome. At night it’s so dark you feel like you are flying through the trees rather than being at a theme park. 10/10
For the people that are scared, this would be my 3rd time going on this ride! It is amazing! It’s very smooth. The first drip doesn’t even tickle that much! Going up is a bit scary, but it’ll all be over in a matter of seconds. Then comes the drop. The drop is amazing! The airtime is incredible! I know I was scared the first time I went on. But now, it’s one of my favorite rides other than drop of doom! I recommend it! Face your fear!

This was my first ever ride. I was always scared of the butterfly in your stomach feeling. I definitely felt it but I also left the coaster feeling accomplished. I could never have imagined me up there. I don’t regret it. The more you go the easier it gets

Went on it for the first time today, my favorite ride ever! The first drop is scary at first but trust me the second time you will have your hands up the whole ride, everyone is different but you will get used to it.
This is the first ride I go to whenever I'm at six flags. I love everything about it. The smooth track, the barely-there lap restraint, the speed, the airtime, the hammerhead turn, the never-ending helix, & the camelback hills.. I usually love coasters with numerous inversions but this ride has so many great elements, it doesn't need anything else. It's also a pretty long ride so the wait is really worth it. It's a 10/10 and I'd ride this over Kingda Ka any day. Even if there's a long queue, it moves super fast because there's 3 trains going & each one holds a LOT of people. For me, El Toro is the only other ride in the park that even compares to Nitro. Only thing is, El Toro is super bumpy. It's a great ride, but Nitro is still the best.
I overcame my fears on this coaster. Never forget the feeling and my friends forcing me to go again. Ps i highly recommend going on the front seat and on the edges its fun
Im literally 23 years old. If my friends hadnt even tried to get me to even GO to Six Flags today I wouldnt have. But, I am extremely glad I did. I rode the Jersey Devil as my first introduction to "Real" coasters. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. We rode Nitro afterwards and the drop on that is incomparable to many many things in life. Even Devils insane drop.
I been wanting to go on this for a while and I never been on a “big” rollercoaster. My friends always tell me to go on bizzaro and Batman. But Idk if I should go on Batman first or nitro. Bc once I go on nitro I can pretty much go on anyone but king da ka bc I don’t care about flipping and going upside down. The best rollercoaster I've ever been on. Tall, fast, and smooth. The free falls, the zero G hills, the positive G's in the turns and helix....amazing ride. I once got to ride this 5 times in a row on a quiet day without ever leaving the train. I could have just kept riding it.

@@patrickrichardson9183 Kingda Ka's biggest flaw is its somewhat frequent periods of downtime, and yes while the initial launch and drop is extremely thrilling, after you get over that bunny hop hill, while you do feel glad you rode it, at the same tie you're like "that's it, it's over?" On Nitro, I feel more satisfied of the ride instead of disappointment that it's over, which I felt on KK.

Well at least for me, if you ask my friends they will say it feeling like your getting punched in the stomach but I didn’t feel much. Man, I remember opening day for this coaster. Had season passes growing up, and this opened when I was like 12. I remember when it first opened, and for many years after, that on the climb up the lift hill they had signs every so often that compared the height to different things, one that sticks out in my mind is there was a sign that said "You are now at the same height as Niagara falls", and you still had like another 60 feet to climb from that point lol. None of the signs are still there apparently. Such a fun coaster. I haven't been there in a while unfortunately, probably about 8 or 9 years, and watching these videos lately have really been making me very nostalgic. I need to plan another trip there soon for sure.

And don’t be scared, it’s actually really fun! that lift hill may be scary if you have a fear of height, but after that first drop, it’s just crazy turns and hills that give you plenty of air time. Plus the helix near the end is kind of intense, but still very fun! Make sure to ride it next time you go to SFGA!

Probably the best coaster I have ever ridden, and I've ridden many from coast to coast. The speed, thrill, setting. The zero Gs on the first drops. But also that helical turn at 2:02, the way the high G's are sustained enough that you get a little bit of tunnel vision, see a few stars by the end of it, then have the blood rush back into your head at the rises after, great fun.
I love this ride so much even though it takes 55 years to get to the top. But what is really scary for me is when your are going up the other hills is the feeling that you are going to get like ejected or flown off the ride. It is pretty crazy how good the friction is
This is the best coaster I’ve ever ridden. That first drop is terrifying lol. The hills, feels like you’re coming out of your seat. When you add the fact it’s only a lap bar securing you, that’s what really makes a huge difference in the fear factor lol. The Jersey Devil is my second favorite.
I love roller coasters and will ride just about anything. Nitro is easily one of the scariest coasters I've ever been on, even though it's fairly straightforward, without any loops. That first lift hill feels like it goes on forever!
Great coaster and super smooth. Nice long ride and good air time. Those last few hills were a pleasant surprise just when you thought the ride was over.

Nightbringer Yasuo it is far better than nitro or any six flags parks due to it being heavily themed, it is located in the UK at Alton towers, home f the words first flying and dive coaster, the most intense BnM invert and the current coaster with the most inversion
I used to be terrified of roller coasters for years until a few months ago. When I went on this for the first time last month I was so nervous for the drop and honestly I thought the going up was more scarier than going down. This is now one of my favorite coasters and I recommend it! :)

I went on it during frightfest too! Maybe that’s why I wasn’t as scared 😂 I didn’t have my glasses on either. Going on it at night is a whole different experience though and I’d argue it’s even better than daytime
xD two days ago I went here for my graduation trip and I went on this 9 times in a row singing Bohemian Rhapsody and I also got to prove to my friends that the Earth is round because ur up so high, u can see Mother Earth's curves. In conclusion, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND.
Honestly though I know they’re kids but holy moly that screechy scream goes right through you. It’s a bit much and kind of takes away the thrill and fun of a ride.

I rode this 20 times today and have zero regrets. Incredible airtime and definitely the best coaster at this park.

@@gisellealberto4226 No, I’ve been on many roller coasters before and I’ve been to Great Adventure lots of times, just this was my first time on Nitro. And don’t be scared, it’s actually really fun! that lift hill may be scary if you have a fear of height, but after that first drop, it’s just crazy turns and hills that give you plenty of air time. Plus the helix near the end is kind of intense, but still very fun! Make sure to ride it next time you go to SFGA!
@@jackery6777 bro I recommend next to u go, go on the front seat on the left side. U will have a blast. Oh and make sure to put the friend whose scared the most on the right side so that when u go curling up the coaster, he screams 😂

Probably the best coaster I have ever ridden, and I've ridden many from coast to coast. The speed, thrill, setting. The zero Gs on the first drops. But also that helical turn at 2:02, the way the high G's are sustained enough that you get a little bit of tunnel vision, see a few stars by the end of it, then have the blood rush back into your head at the rises after, great fun.
That was the longest ride I've ever seen.

I love this ride so much even though it takes 55 years to get to the top. But what is really scary for me is when your are going up the other hills is the feeling that you are going to get like ejected or flown off the ride. It is pretty crazy how good the friction is

This is the best coaster I’ve ever ridden. That first drop is terrifying lol. The hills, feels like you’re coming out of your seat. When you add the fact it’s only a lap bar securing you, that’s what really makes a huge difference in the fear factor lol. The Jersey Devil is my second favorite.
The drop on this ride is lethal is crazy I thought my heart on come on my chest when I first got on it at Six Flags New Jersey. I love it 👍

I love roller coasters and will ride just about anything. Nitro is easily one of the scariest coasters I've ever been on, even though it's fairly straightforward, without any loops. That first lift hill feels like it goes on forever!
This is the best ride at great adventure.

Great coaster and super smooth. Nice long ride and good air time. Those last few hills were a pleasant surprise just when you thought the ride was over.

Haha it’s nothing compared to kinda ka on your first go lol. I got on this and Kingda Ka 3 times during my visit and they were all great.

He or she is most likely just a little kid. But that kid is also slightly amused/ entertained. That same kid screamed when the coaster got at it's stop too. That kid knew he/ she just wanted to scream at times. Simply just to be screaming.

I used to be terrified of roller coasters for years until a few months ago. When I went on this for the first time last month I was so nervous for the drop and honestly I thought the going up was more scarier than going down. This is now one of my favorite coasters and I recommend it! :)

You missed out man. Listen, I used to be afraid of coasters. But this ride, this ride broke my fear. Not to scare you or anything, but this ride is extremely fun. I’m going to Six Flags later today (it’s 1 AM rn lol I usually can’t sleep when I’m going) and I’m getting on this as many times as I can.
Just rode this tonight on frightfest. At night you cannot see how high you are before that drop. Was awesome, super intense
I went on it during frightfest too! Maybe that’s why I wasn’t as scared 😂 I didn’t have my glasses on either.
Going on it at night is a whole different experience though and I’d argue it’s even better than daytime
this ride is so fun and smooth and there is only a lap bar i went on it a few days ago like 5 times 10/10 recommend

xD two days ago I went here for my graduation trip and I went on this 9 times in a row singing Bohemian Rhapsody and I also got to prove to my friends that the Earth is round because ur up so high, u can see Mother Earth's curves.
In conclusion, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND.
We were singing the Superman TAS theme on this ride during my most recent trip.
Honestly though I know they’re kids but holy moly that screechy scream goes right through you. It’s a bit much and kind of takes away the thrill and fun of a ride.

First coaster I got on as a kid with my sister and I must say this my favorite coaster brings back lots of good memories 😌 . There used to be signs on the side that read the height and things like Niagara falls height 🙃
