  • How to make Red Velvet Hurricane Swiss Roll| Cool Swiss Roll Cake | Easy Recipe |
    Super soft cool looking red velvet hurricane swill roll! Just with two extra simple step, any regular swiss roll can be turned into a hurricane roll with cool spiral pattern. Double flavor swiss roll , soft , chewy, give it a try!

    6 pcs Egg (~60g with shell)
    60g Cooking Oil
    60g Milk
    75g Cake Flour
    75g Sugar
    8g Red Velvet Bakery Emulsion
    2g Lemon Juice (Optional)

    📢 Tips (read before you start😊)
    1. There are two main reasons for broken/falling top skin is not fully baked through. One is the cake is not baked dry yet, you can increase the temperature in the last 5 mins. the other one is cover it with parchment paper right away after took out of oven. Internal heat will condense as steam which cause the cake top skin peel off. Watch the ways to save these in the video!
    2. The main reason for cracking while rolling include (1) the egg whites are too stiff , (2) the batter is not evenly mixed; (3) the baking temperature is too high. Follow the steps you will have no problem roll it flat it and roll it again!
    3. Use the tips how the finger is inserted and draw the pattern! You will hard to even fail!
    Cake Pan size 26x39cm
    Put it in the middle of the preheated oven, 170°C (340°F) bake for 25~30 minutes

      No, no need fan on for baking cake rolls . Actually it is preferred not to have it on

      yeah, use parchment paper , i usually roll with the top facing outside
