It’s better to twist the hose off anything , instead of pulling and jerking it . Grab some pliers , break it free and twist the hose , fastest and easy .
Pipe just comes out. Gotta wiggle it out after removing the mounting bolts. Def replace that o ring on the thermostat housing side. Put some Vaseline on it to make sure it slides in smoothly and the o ring doesn't get rolled.
Wait!!!, I have to take that big piece you should on the table? What about just the regular thermostat spring thing. That's the only piece that gets changed, or am I missing the picture here?
Holy christ, so you have to take off the intake manifold, throttle body, intake, and then parts go underneath the car? All that for a thermostat change ay?
This is the best explanation and video of the v6 thermostat removal and location thanks
Love the quality of the videos
much detail left out here, removed alternator to get coolant pipe & thermostat housing out. Did not fix overheating. Fans not running for some reason
Did you fix the problem?
Very nice thank you
Any tips on how to get the top of thermostat housing off the hose itself?

Thermostat is part of the while housing. It's sold as a complete assembly.
Lo que uno quiere ver es como se quita, no quiero ver que llaves necesito ,👎🏼

I know, right?!! Damn modern cars are so half-ass. Something as simple as a thermostat is such a bitch to install... FML!

The worst part was getting the radiator pipe out. Its bent absolutely crazy and you have to wriggle and do a tetris game in order to get it out!!
Talking would of helped me better than music .. all the other videos that talk have v8s so that doesn’t help .. smh
No reason for music, annoying
