EMP is really strong vs AOTE craft due to size limit& the designs being outdated. You can easily emp protect with HA emp conduits which make essentially a faraday cage making even 1m of METAL enough insulation, but at small sizes that becomes much more difficult . So, In my opinion, only go with very small amounts of EMP unless AOTE gets revamped, then emp protection will propably be enough to go all out with emp

Love how Lathland always says something like "They should totally destroy us" and "I'm not a good builder" moments before his always superior designs absolutely wreck whatever it is he is fighting, usually with absolutely clear dominance.
It's the Lathrixian Paradox. Dude's been building FtD craft for almost a decade now, and is so talented at making godkillers on a budget that both function and look good he has to actively handicap himself otherwise it gets boring. All the while, he has the same amount of confidence in his designs as someone who bought it on sale because it looked neat and has never played a craft builder game in their life.

To that end he perpetuates a need to build better, fulfills the need with grand creativity which he can't admit to himself driving him to do it again. I'm sure he acknowledges this but won't let himself be brought down by self-satisfaction in the form of confidence, rather seek a much more deep seeded joy in simply becoming the best- and then doing even better. This because he'd make a great engineer, truly.

The robocraft devs are making a sequel and it looks promising. The new building system is great and it works sorta like in scrap mechanic. There is an alpha of the new build mode and multiplayer and it's quite nice even though it's missing some features
Could be interesting to build mono-weapon vehicles. Like a tank with just one big cannon, or a big laser, big ballistic missile launcher and so on. Like if you were making a unit for an RTS game.

Few things: Firstly, I've been trying to get into FTD for about 4 years though off and on though I just cant seem to get the hang of it, ive played the tutorials and viewed the guides countless times though i can still barely make a viable craft. I remember a few years back you made a submarine tutorial which I really enjoyed; and i would love to see something like a tutorial series from you in FTD, obviously community feedback/the algorithm is what drives a lot of the continuing content on the channel, so hopefully if you decide to do that, it would be well recieved. And secondly! Since the majority of your craft in all of your games are based on the Chaos gods, I'd love to know if you play the tabletop yourself? Similar to the videos where youve shown off your pet snails and lizards in IRL content, id love to see your army (assuming you play), Anyways keep up the great content!

I feel like it needs trees of some kind. The big differentiating factor between land and see battles is largely the vast differences in environmental objects that you interact with on land. Maybe the sea version of the adventure mode could do with some coral reefs or other similar underwater fauna. Volcano might be cool

Maybe Build the M4A2 or M4A3(Late) Models, Later on you can maybe look into having Some M10 3" "Wolverine" Gun Motor Carriage Tank Destroyers or the British M10c 17pdr SP(RA) "Achilles" (The name for the latter given by the Israelis after World War Two) and probably some Matillda II Infantry Tanks for some Heavy Armor and Bristol Beaufighter TF Mk. X Fighter-Bombers for Air Support. This Might as well be the Basis for "Battlegroup Lathland" right here.
I do miss the classic “GREETINGS SIR AND SIRETTES” but that pales in comparison to ANOTHER FTD VIDEO!!!! But also, I saw the one comment you posted Lathrix. I am terribly sorry for your lose. Losing a pet can be a very, very tough experience, especially as they are more than just an animal in the house, they are family. Again, truly sorry to hear about your loss.

I wonder how well a land skimmer would do in the advanced terrain you suggest. Some form of amphibious craft capable of high speed over flat ground, amphibious for lakes perhaps, and able to somewhat effectively traverse areas of elevation changes would be interesting - maybe even a ramming craft, given the ability to approach behind cover of hills and dunes, and the inability of enemy craft to sink into the water below while on land.
I’ve been watching since robocraft and ARK. I love your ftd content so much, as I’ve only recently taken the time to tackle the harsh learning curve of the game despite having bought it in 2016. I’m now on 180hours and am still learning a lot. Love your content, very excited to hear ftd will be here again after this mode is more stable!

I think that if you'd deploy EMP in the campaign, using a cram cannon full of EMP packing would be fun. Give one of your weapons a single very angry attack... That is relatively easy to dodge or counteract.

What’s the point in playing the land campaign, and then making the same flyer he always does? Make an actual tank! With maybe one missile, and an actual cannon. Not the usual OP advanced cannon that’s the usual go-to. Love the content, just gets a bit to familiar sometimes x
I think you should use emp but poss restrict it to short rang low yeald emp, but liking where this is going with land battle tanks, sorry to hear of the passing of one of your pets

First, thank you for the video; it was satisfying and a nice mood boost. Second, if you are going to fly, might the idea of using harpoon missiles and a down-pointed short-range particle beam independence day style interest you. Third, I would also like to see missiles that shoot missiles that shoot missiles (aka swarm) get used with hardened penetrator type warheads. I have not perfected this myself, but who doesn't love ridiculous missile use?
The amount of progress you make in a single episode is crazy. Going from campaign start to a proper mid game build almost faster than I can keep track of. It's great to see you enjoying the new game mode, but I would personally like to see more of the building and testing too
One thing that might also be a bit too uninteractive for a full campaign, but could also be fun would be to make a particle cannon bomber. Lasers are probably too short-range to properly be an orbital death ray, but particle-cannon orbital bombardment would be quite shiny.
I need to get back into FTD as soon as this comes to the stable branch and I hope to find more of these videos in the future from you and Mabye some of the ashes of the empire campaign?

I think an altitude limit could help increase the challenge a little, maybe 50m? Still great gameplay and design as usual!
