Hi Lathrix, I made the Wolf-Spider you see in the game, together with some help from TheConeezeanEmperor, the maker of the Kingfisher (mother-tank) It means so much to me that you liked my very first campaign craft so much! I commented on your previous video but a bit late, so im putting it here. You have been one of my favourite UA-camrs for a long while. My account is actually named after an old Robocraft vehicle you made in 2014, the Spiderwolf. You and Aavak are also the reason I even started to play FTD. (So you are indirectly the reason the Wolf Spider is in the Game) I cant tell you how much you have impacted my life by introducing me to this community. I hope you continue to make more FtD content.

I spent a couple mins writing a ~100 word comment about a drone-only series and was completely this is a series I wish to see continued in the future about the fact that someone already commented this.
I can imagine a giant semi truck looking thing with no weapons, and then it opens up its cargo container and like 20 different drones fly out and swarm everything out of existence.

@@zennon_youtube just imagined that he had a different unit grouping and one of the mega missiles with spawner missiles inside, that had a kinetic head, decoy item, more carrier missiles then their fuel and thruster, going into an actual warhead, just some cluster of game chugging madness just to say that he had played an hour at the hardest difficulty with huge to large to medium missile fragmentation and shelled an enemy with relative mass enough to account for Balam's fisticuffs in EDF 4.1, lol
@@Impera._ Technically, only Scoot was Kidnapped. Scuttle was scientifically engineered, taking parts from Scoot, so they are still "brothers" in that way... though Scuttle would be more of a "clone?" of Scoot.
@@Petq011 Yeah, but since snoot was kidnapped, and scuttle is an off branch of snoot, and would have never been made if snoot was destroyed in the kidnapping scuttle would have never been born, so scuttle was kinda maybe possibly kidnapped too.
Also, at the power levels he's using, a plain carburettor might be worthwhile (or pair thereof), they add some power, and don't add as much heat. They're also more effecient, which isn't that big of a deal, but honestly, why not?
The "Invisible blocks" is a property of decorations, where you can shift the tether point of a certain decoration to cover the block you want to make dissapear, and turn on "hide original Mesh". this will make the block invisible, while still allowing function.
Ayy, you built yourself a Merlin! Very cool! To be entirely honest, I should have gone with the quad small missile rails, it would have made the Merlin far more potent, but I am a sucker for aesthetics. Glad you found out about Mesh Replacement though, can't wait to see what you will do with it. I do somewhat feel like I cheated a bit by using Mesh Replacement on the Merlin, but it was damned difficult making it as compact as I did, but it was necessary so it didn't look out of place being launched by my Kingfisher. The same can be said of the Wolf-Spiders when they were built by Spider-Wolf, compactness for the drones was very important, even though FTD tends to get funky with such small craft (The early versions of the Wolf-Spider particularly liked doing literal loop-de-loops). Also, happy birthday Emily!
Also, how about calling your aerial drone "Poot" to go with "Scoot"? Refers to the usage of a jet engine, and fits with it being an aircraft in much the same way "Scoot" does with a land vehicle.

I think you have a great opportunity here with those bikes. Store them where the front wheels of the tank should be, so they burst out like the Batbike. Also FTD is a series I would like to see continue in the future

I would suggest replacing one of the flying drones with a defensive helicopter/quadcopter just so that you have the full ensemble and be more well balanced to boot.

I do have to say chap, as you don’t have excessive cuts during building, you do allow the viewers to observe your building process (in this case, the drone), and might I say I have found it mighty useful, so I must thank you for it.
The way that you can make blocks invisible is with decorations Decorations on like mimics however instead of being bound to a block which interact with Q, they can be bound to a specific block on the vehicle using control X to open the menu. There is a check box under all of the positional sliders labelled “hide original mesh“ when enabled, The block that the mimic is placed on is invisible. “Mimic:empty” can be used to make it look like nothing is there at all It is a trick that the steel striders use a lot in their designs and it is what makes so many workshop builds so smooth

"Scoot" seems more fitting for the angry scooter to be honest, I'd call the tank a Tick. I'd also call the aerodrones Anchovies, just because it's fun to say really.
7:28 This design gave me an idea of making a Mad Max style convoy enemy. A big truck that's the mothership and a bunch of bikes, buggies, trucks and whatnot following it. The idea is all your if you wanna use it for the next series or something. No reason we can't both do it.
Loved the more building focused episode. Would love to see more of that style in the future. Always wanted to know more about how your stuff looks on the inside.

Your Drone looks like a Mini F86 SABER or Mig 17, i like it. Building stuff like this is always the best part of games like this. It is EASY to build something, it is HARD to build something SMALL and/or Compact.
I’m genuinely surprised that the second mini tank turned into a bike rather than a little mortar tank. But regardless, since the first child is Scoot I’d say name the flying kids Soar and Dive. The bike meanwhile could be Drift. Scoot, Soar, Dive, and Drift. They will be feared across the sands and skies.
Oh my god... we need to do a drone-only series! Imagine how amazing it would be to drive around what is basically a plane carrier on land and then releasing a devestating swarm on the enemy, completely obliterating them. Ooohh, and imagine the mini-guards that you could have around the carrier, protecting you from the pests while drinking a piná colada and staring into your personal cicada storm. Lathrix please, please think about this, especially now when you might be running low on ideas for FtD, not that I don't think you gained a whole lot more due to the land mode which newly got implemented. The way the blocks on the drone are invisible is through decorations. In the settings of each deco, there’s a button to “hide original mesh”. This makes the block at whatever root you tie the deco with disappear
This gave me an idea for full on carrier that has minimal weapons, runway on top for flying drones and (if it would be possible) in the interior hidden several land based ones, maybe also some bigger but still small escort vehicles that would have the "main cannons".

Cntrl+X used on block--> decorations menu --> use any decoration on the Block --> make the block invisable (thats a check box you have to click)
Drones are fun. A cheesy drone would be rotating around the main craft with a tractor beam, drawing away fire and being harder to hit.

You can use decorations to hide the original mesh of the block, and with Mimic:Empty, it means it doesn't replace it with anything.

The way the blocks on the drone are invisible is through decorations. In the settings of each deco, there’s a button to “hide original mesh”. This makes the block at whatever root you tie the deco with disappear

This gave me an idea for full on carrier that has minimal weapons, runway on top for flying drones and (if it would be possible) in the interior hidden several land based ones, maybe also some bigger but still small escort vehicles that would have the "main cannons".
