I want to buy Ohlins for my jza80 supra because I love the oem ohlins on my 1299s. But why is it double the cost for an s2000.... why does this magic carpet number exist?! really not fair!! I know life isn't fair but double the price is just cruel... Does ohlins just hate supra owners or see them as they got money for quality parts?.... I dont have money but want a magic carpet... please can you make jza80 coilover line the same price as an s2000 or sti or price it respectivley close to any other sports car? I really want your product but can't justify paying double for the same tech that other cars get... please help me understand the price

60k km is ~37k miles. From what I recall in the manual, they need to be serviced just under 20k miles or ~32k km...

Lol this guy makes no sense, so yous use a high spring rate, but soft damper? Lol i always thought u need a hard damper to keep up with a tough spring otherwise it gets bouncy

Yeah... I trust Öhlins engineers more than UA-cam commenters. These guys know what they're doing

That's 90s thinking. Think about how stiff modern cars are compared to old cars. Then consider both how stiff AND light modern racecars are. Because the tires are stiff and stickier than ever, the cars are stiff and strong, and the whole package is lightweight AND powerful, you're able to actually use stiff springs with comparatively soft dampers because the cars themselves stick to the road so well with aero and everything. Not to mention damping technology itself has come an EXTREMELY long way too. Racecars really do have to be quite comfortable for drivers to race them for 3+ hours at a time at 200+ mph in the pitch black of Le Mans.
