I have been going crazy for the last two days trying to do this before I found this tutorial! Method 2 worked perfectly for my project. Thank you so much for a concise and helpful tutorial, and for saving my sanity! :)
Great tutorial short, simple, to the point, and educationally valuable! Thank you for this!!

Hi! thank you! if I have lasso shape that is orange, how I make sure the texture created in black(or any other colour) and not white? Right now, i only get white texture imprint when I use your method.
Do you sell the cracked paint picture?
hey man, using second method, how to make the brush - 100% transparent.... when I'm using it, it makes 50% transparent... thanks
Check your brush opacity, make it to 100% & flow 100%, now stamp in to the layer mask!
amazing, Im very dumb at photoshop, but I think can do it

Great tutorial. The background music was a little distracting.
Hi, what is the name of the music track in question and where can I get it from?
It is a stock music track. We won't be able to share the exact name, but you can find many similar ones on websites such as Envato Elements and the Free Music Archive.
What is the name of that brush ?
In method 2
What font is this
LJ McWilliams I was wondering also
The "marching ants" never stopped and it did not put the cracks in my text. Followed you step by step on 2 laptops, watching, pausing, following click by click on another. It didn't work. I find in ALL of these videos, EVERYONE leaves out 1 step that ruins it.
It worked fine for me. You may be doing something wrong??
No, as I said, I follow on 1 pc and copy step for step on another. I found a better video and it worked perfectly.
Cool Im glad you got it working. Just need to find an awesome pic like they used in this video. happy Designing!!
Yup , same. Marching ants don't stop , Ctrl+ C does nothing.
