Thank you so much! I made my first textured brush because I wanted something specific and wasn't able to find it... So I just thought - what if I made it myself? And I did, all thanks to you! And it works perfectly. 😊 I am like really hyped right now. 😂 New open world full of possibilities!

Great video but a few things that are missing is you need to set it to preserve detail and set res to 300 while changing the image size. Also you don't have to make it smaller.. bigger is better because the quality and you can always readjust brush size to make it smaller. Sometimes I find this an annoyance when searching for brushes they are low res and too small! Now I know how to make them though Thanks!!!!!!!!

A question about Photoshop 2023. It does not run on my Inspiron Dell laptop anymore. I want to buy a fixed PC, to use Photoshop (Photo not animation). Do you have any good PC recommendations?

is there a brush I can select to pop up a color ? I have a color subject and I selected it and turned the background B&W. I would like to bring up some details out but only certain color is that possible with a brush ? Something like when I brush over the black and white the color I selected come up from the original color picture background as my underlayer.

This isn't very good for a brick wall, which requires a constant pattern instead of being scatterred around...

I can always count on a thorough demonstration when watching your tutorials and this (at 50% playback speed) was a good one. Can you, or anyone, tell me the significance of the padlocks beside shape dynamics, scattering, etc. in brush settings? Thank you!

The padlocks when closed means that you won’t be able to change anything. If there open you can!

I have some old photos of my grandparents, when I scanned them u can see these kind of pitted dots throughout the photo from the old paper texture. Does anyone please know who do remove them?? I have read about a FFT Plug In but I just want to do it in photoshop itself if possible. Any idea or if PLERN wants to do a tute on something like that it would be great :)

Hey Aaron - another great tutorial, thanks!
As an alternative to erasing the edges of the texture, could you expand the canvas, filling the edges with white so as to keep more of the edge texture? This way you could either erase less of the texture edges, fade the edges or clone in some of the less distinct background for a smoother transition?

    hey,
how are you doing this zoom effect at 4:40?
is it in the screen recording software, via shortcuts, or do you make them later in the video editing software?
