All I’m gonna say is that a lot of the issues women have in dating men is cultivated by the environment they created, women have pushed us to be more open with our feelings and weren’t prepared for the level of emotions we keep bottled up. Chivalry is dead bc of the women that scream independence and they don’t need a man to do shit for them, and the women that maybe don’t feel that way follow these women screaming “Independence” to support their fellow women.
In todays society Ofc men want to be the “woman” in the relationship, it’s a better gig, you’re treated a lot better than being the man and regarding that equality, if we are moving to a society that is more equal, why is there an expectation for the man to do more, especially when you really deep like what more can he do? On average he’s earning the same amount as his partner, so you expect him to do more when ur earning the same. If men were the sole breadwinners across the board then I’d agree they should be doing more but if not why are they working harder to satisfy ur need to be taken care of? That’s not really equality in that sense.

In this generation there is no humility. I am a practicing Christian and Ik my my roles within a marriage but in todays climate I’m saying why wouldn’t you want to be appreciated. You missed my entire point, which is expected. My point is the wife/gf role is the the only role that actually gets appreciation, whereas the boyfriend/husband role isn’t, so why wouldn’t want to be in that gf role. Until women appreciate the value of a man, more men will want to be treated as the woman in the relationship. Money isn’t the issue. It’s the lack of appreciation and you aren’t valued

My wife can make more money than me bc I am not ruled by money but in most cases when the wife is out-earning she won’t give u the same level of respect or appreciation as if u were earning more than your partner. And if you are out earning her, bc of todays climate and how most women view men, she will not really value your role as provider. Provider isn’t only in reference to money and it is not a man’s role to provide. There is only one true provider in this world
