Tbh the post pregnancy/post child weight gain conversation made me uncomfortable. I think calling it letting yourself go after creating life for 9 months maybe once or multiple times is extremely insensitive and dismisses all of the labour that mothers have to take on that men quite frankly do not do half of. So treating your partner insensitively about their weight gain i.e. not being able to see even a little bit of their beauty after they have gone through the closest thing to death (child birth) because you don't like the weight gain they went through to bring in your child to the world is extremely insensitive imo. I am only talking about child birth, I have not even mentioned the fact that women carry the overwhelming majority of the childcare labour, domestic labour and are still expected to contribute financially - all whilst being expected to snap back to their pre baby bodies.
We glorify Dad bods but mum bods that do all of the heavy lifting are shamed.

I completely understand and comprehend this sentiment, BUT it is NOT an impossible notion to find the motivation and push yourself to heal and "snapback". Everyone is always gonna be tired and have a lot on their plates. It shows your continued determination for your personal self care and mental health; with excessive weight gain comes health issues and a woman is especially sensitive to health issues while healing from childbirth. What we eat, our mental state, and our relationship all plays a part in our health and healing. Be proactive in your own healing and mental health, just sitting around bc you're tired cannot always be the excuse, there's ALWAYS an option to do better. Everyone is tired most of the time. On both sides, mother and father!

@@applebomb8924 Mothers in this modern time are always doing far more (looking after the kids, cooking, cleaning and alot mothers work and go to their job)....... no wonder why they get so burnt out & have no energy left or determination. I am sure mothers really try to be healthy and look their best but it isn't easy as you say. From what I see, men need to help out far more at home, just being real honest.

You guys should do more of these videos, thank you! I know the guy in the navy blue did not mean anything bad in the pregnancy body comment but it was very harsh and triggering (as a nurse i see Ahole husbands and boyfriends say sick things too often). I don't think you can say you love someone and see their struggle carrying and giving birth to y'lls child to find their body ugly, Plastic surgery is not a quick fix, it's not a game, mentally or physically. That's heartbreaking. I would just like to remind everyone that pregnancy is a sacrifice to MAYBE give birth. Women die every day due to hemorrhage, heart attack, infection, mental health issues all due to giving birth most being black women in (USA statistics) usually within 42 days(45%) to 1 year(18%) after birth and 38% while pregnant. 63% are all preventable, which just shows how vulnerable and uncared for the women is...it's very tragic. I find it sad there is not much research on the effect it has on men as I am sure mentality they are going THROUGH it and there are probably physical signs. Anyway, after pregnancy even with great support (very helpful and life-saving) women can still feel shit for at least a year on and off, that does not mean it's healthy to not take care of yourself through heal process but it's not always pretty. while a woman is creating a child we also being reformed. We try to make it look good and easy but those of us who work in this field know the pressure it takes to JUST bring the mother and child through.

That comment about women sitting around the house and not doing anything didn’t sit right with me just for the simple fact that I think the mindset around women being housewives is really miscued and I don’t like it. Women that are housewives never get off work. They are cooking cleaning prepping stocking sewing pruning lifting shifting folding building organizing and developing in almost every way possible almost every second of the day. In the morning I’m getting myself my kids and my husband ready for the day. I must provide a clean environment for myself my child and my husband so I’m cleaning. Then I have to wash clothes for my kids my husband and myself and then I have to cook breakfast lunch and dinner everyday for my kids my husband and myself. Then I have to make sure there’s groceries in the house. I have to make sure there’s cleaning supplies tissue batteries napkins crayons color pencils and any other house hold items are stocked up and usable in the house. on top of that I have to make sure that I at least look decent because I want to feel good about myself and I’m sure my husband wants to look at his wife and see shes put together. But it’s like it just never stops is literally on going from The moment you wake up to the time that you go to sleep you are taking care of other people. When a husband goes to work he gets up in the morning and he gets to walk away from whats happening at home to take care of what’s going on at his job and for a few hours of the day he’s not sitting in that same environment from the time he wakes up to the time that he goes to sleep. Housewifes are on call 24 hours of the day your husband calls you he want to stuff, your child calls you want something, you want stuff from yourself. So I think a lot more respect needs to go into a housewife because housewives don’t just sit on their ass all day and do nothing housewives are fucking holding it down and making sure that things are being taken care of at home and all the shit that you don’t have to worry about, the small things that’s taken care of that women do. Husbands can just grab shit on the way out the door and go. I think down playing housewifes is also old fashioned and both men and women should contribute equally in there own ways to their marriage and households and children.

I felt everything you said in my soul. I'm a stay at home mum of 2 small children and I wake up at 5am every morning at least 2hrs before everyone else because that's literally the only time I can exercise. Then it's making breakfast for everyone (my daughter is a picky eater so sometimes I have to make her a second breakfast). Getting my husband's clothes ready for work. Packing his lunch. When the kids wake up getting them changed and dressed and then it's play time. Their nap time I'm doing laundry and making dinner. A lot of the time I'm cleaning while cooking. Once they're up its feeding them then taking them to the park. Then it's dinner time, I get clean and changed before my husband comes home so I look nice and put together for him. Then it's reading and bed time for the kids. Then I clean up the mess everyone made during dinner and do a quick cleaning. That's when my husband and I get to spend time together. I am on my feet all day taking care of my family. It's such an insult when people say housewives "sit around" all day.

GOD LOVES YOU!! No matter where you are or what you have done in your life, God is willing to forgive you. He loves us all so much. HE is perfect and holy and because of our sin, we are separated from Him. But there's good news. God loves us so much that He sent His one and only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. He rose again on the third day. He did this so that we could be forgiven and reconciled to God. Those who believe in Him will have eternal life. Jesus desires for us to know Him and have a relationship with us. He sees you! He can give you the peace and joy that surpasses all understanding. Once you accept Him, you are forgiven, born into God's family, and made new.
To receive Christ, pray this prayer: “Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. Guide my life and help me to do your will. In your name, Amen.”

Bc in the acne community it’s harder to find self love when your constantly trying to find products and wondering why your face is fucked up. So it’s like they like the “natural” clear skin better than a shawty that is clearly bad but the face is not all pulled in together which at the end of the day it’s a working progress cuz I need ppl to understand that she never ask to have it in the first place. I had twin boys and a daughter. 6.5 years and 4.5 years resp. I lost the weight after my last child. I did it because I knew I wouldn’t tolerate it if the situation were reversed. I think it’s unfair for women to expect their partners to still be attracted to them when they morph into a completely different body type that they were initially attracted to. And you can still love someone and not be physically attracted.

The one in the blue hoodie( kam, I believe) talked so much. The next friend discussion please don’t invite him 😂. He consistently spoke over people or just had to speak first. Nixon (I think that’s his name) was really quite but when he spoke he spoke with sense and so did everyone else especially the guy with green shirt. Anywho, there’s power in silence & Kam should try be quiet

That's the thing with socialization. Parents are just one part. As parents definitely push against those gender norms but be aware there's tv, there's friends, there's a whole outside world, very difficult to push against that. But your boys will remember that you've made it okay at home.

People are raised differently. Once my husband learned my family and learned me he understood that I’m not trying to be rude.
It’s hard for that person to understand that “how” they said something is wrong. Marriage takes two people studying the other. It’s like going to school to get a degree. So far we’ve graduated high school. We are entering college. Going on 13 years. We are in a transition faze. Moving states, changing states, dealing with death of parent, like a lot. So if I’m crying more because I’m in morning it’s up to him to adjust to the new mental state I’m in. I have to still be considerate of him. Everyday we have to choose to put in the work. Work is not bad. Some days you are excited to get up and go to work because it’s your dream, your hearts desire. There are times when you just don’t want to put in work. Relationships go through seasons. People have to understand we are always changing and growing. Some for the better and some for the worst. But as long as you two are striving for the same things, share the same vision, and most importantly have God as your foundation. You can make it through any storm or trial.

Dude in the green nailed it. Marriage level maturity in a man is financial and emotional, and spiritual. He’s healed his wounds, he knows himself, and he knows his purpose and who/what he needs to fulfill it. Until then, don’t spend your youth getting broken by immature men. Be friendly and open but be too busy grinding and finding YOU to entertain time wasters. One day you’ll be living your blessed life, happy, healthy, and whole and Adam will show up recognize you as his rib.

He who is sinless died on the cross for our sins just so we could be here. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords from generation to generation! Read your bible daily please and Repent!! God bless you and your family!💜 ( Not trying to force upon anyone who doesn’t agree )

This type of group reminds me of my brother’s type. Dudes that are actually mature in their thinking. A lot of these videos I see the guys are very…surface level and nitpicky. “You’re a girl you have to do this” like no- they actually are speaking on what’s real. Even if they say something I don’t agree with I’m still going to listen to them bc they’re actually articulating their thoughts instead of just “oh you’re a girl that’s how it should be”. Very refreshing

I think Kam really just wanted to hear himself talk lol. Its like I kinda get what he was saying on the body question but it was irrelevant to the actual question which was how do you feel about a woman's body POST pregnancy. If you were never attracted to her PRE pregnancy then your answer is irrelevant and insensitive. Thank you to the rest of the MEN for bringing more positivity to the answer.

Just like you guys don’t want any girl who does onlyfans, any man who is willingly paying for that thing ain’t it for me either period🤞🏾. So you don’t like when your women wearing wigs, but you are loving other girls pictures wearing it? And if we react, we have to stop being insecure? Okay then, I would start liking men pictures with all the abs and everything. Would I be petty then? …..or would you be insecure? Btw, Very nice video⭐️

Some of this guys has a lot of growing up to do and it’s not a bad thing. Y’all should reaction video and see how it turn out with this response of these questions. And one question with cam about pregnancy responses were Eye opening. Cause men don’t really know what it’s like to go through when your pregnant. Before and after , plus post partum depression. Cam talked too much a lot let somebody else finish what they are trying to say. And plus josh needs to be aware of his friends say and think. I’ve been noticing his friends responding to questions were too much or messed up. Josh is more mature out of the group because he’s engaged and has more experience about what it’s like to go threw the good the bad and the ugly. Also knows how isi changed him as a man. And plus for himself.
