just subscribed to you sir, your energy and real passion went through the monitor, as i was browsing youtube, i must say i just started painting after i failed 15 years ago, again, im still at the no SKILL no theory known or learned, just about had some modelling in clay good hours and drawing, we had painting teacher but he was teaching us new jokes and about general stuff, never about painting, he never told us even to bring colors to his class, ever. so im here to watch you as you are going to be patient with me, im not shy with brushes, and i learn fast, many thanks for being here for us the mere mortals. a warm and from deep of my heart thank you aND THE BEST WISHES for you,
You are so relaxed and confident. I always end up with a stiff neck & shoulders when laying the first shapes down on the canvas. It is always delightful & relaxing to watch you. I've got to adopt your attitude!! Thanks Robert.
I love how the pear comes to life. Also I watch a lot of your videos and they are filled with super important things that no one ever tells you like the object sits ON its shadow. I have not seen that on any other video.
@@bobburridge4696 i felt like it had your eyes when i saw the thumbnail and then your face but i wasn’t sure. the mouth scares me a little but i do love it. i think there’s a lot there about what we were all going through. anxiety and discomfort is evident. thanks for all the videos over the last few years!

I use oil paints and tend to make my own black but if I have to use a tube black it's Lamp black every time 😊
