Thanks - great review for a phenomenal motorbike. I too am leaving you a comment, as (like an earlier comment I've just seen below) I also think you need to get yourself some decent bike gloves - it never fails to freak me out a bit to see people riding with no gloves on... even if they're only wearing pyjamas besides. Good luck with your channel as you have a very natural delivery, and many youtube presenters really don't - well done mate.
It's an incredible motorcycle. Was at the shop the other day and saw the new Speed Triple 1200 RR was in. Crazy good looks with world class performance. Wahoo!
If you come off a bike with no gloves on you will damage your hands so badly that they will probably never fully recover. I like your review and reaction to the Triumph. But always safety first!
Obviously never had a stone flick up off the wheel of a bike or car you are following. Hurts like hell. Get some quality gloves on man ! ABS brakes won't save your hands !!
I've rode both 22 models and loved them. I'd buy the new Street Triple (in red) and enjoy the savings. However, I do love that crazy fast Orange Speed Triple. Wahoo!
Just know that the Speed _really_ picks up overkill speed quickly with less drama. The 765 makes more noise with less mph. Depends on what you want. I wound up with both ...
Yes, but Baxter's has that magic backroom full of classic/vintage motorcycles and most every new Triumph & Royal Enfield in all the best models & colors too. Not to mention Merch. ;)
Just watched your video. I own one. (see my channel if your interested) When you spoke about the beautiful welds, I had to smile a bit. I had an '07 Speed Triple and it had beautiful welding on the frame also. I was surprised to learn that the welds were actually just molded styling, I guess to give it a tough, stout look. If you look closely at multiple bikes you'll see they are absolutely identical welds. Will you be buying one?
Beautiful motorcycle and I'd love to have one. I always enjoy taking them for a spin. Unfortunately, I can't afford another bike right now....maybe later?
Test rode one. Fell in love. Bought it ;-) Such an amazing machine.
Amazing motorcycle, for sure!
ive got the speed triple rr. its a complete beast , brilliant bike .
Total Beast!

WAHOO
I’ve ridden a 955i version but the new one is a beast, although I’ve never ridden one. You are super lucky!👍 Just an amazing bike.

This is going to be my next bike. Torn between this one and the new 765 Street Triple.

@@forgottenmotorcycles what if I find a speed triple 2022 for under $14k? Getting the best bang for buck.
@@302bikelife I would do it!
I have this bike it’s super fast but if I’m honest I think the new Street triple will be more fun , the Speed Triple is just nuts!!

Interesting, I’m in the Des Moines area and Baxter is 1 of 2 Triumph dealers close enough on a tank of fuel.

@@forgottenmotorcycles 😪🤞
Ive seen 165hp backwheek🤙🔥🔥
That is a crazy amount of power at the back wheel!
@@forgottenmotorcycles 833 BHP per tonne. The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has 627, the LaFerrari 599, McLaren P1 584.
Yeah it's no joke.
Dyno says another thing. 154 hp max on the backeheel.
But it is more than enough.
👍
It's a real scream dream of a machine. Wahoo!
Every manuf quotes crank power, this is not new. 157-158 is a typical dyno result, about 88% of crank, also typical drivetrain lossage.
Manufacturers don't measure at the wheel because its pretty inaccurate. But there is always a loss from crank for obvious reasons.
