Wow, as always, fantastic craftsmanship and design. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the build. Thank you for these videos, they are a must see. 👍🏻
Amazing work as always Joey, if that's the island I can imagine how great all the fittings will look when it's completed. Looking forward to that overview. Wish I was living nearby man, pleasure to watch you work..
Awesome project. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the kitchen build and final install. A kitchen of that quality is a very rare item in NZ. They are lucky they found you for the job!
Man what a fantastic job, it looks great, i am envious of how easy you make things look, looking forward to seeing the rest of the build many thanks 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You have done some amazing stuff in the past Joey, but I think this is the best yet. I particularly like the way you have done the skirting. And don't bother going to the Gym for a week, I think you got it all in flattening the top. Man is that a big kitchen if this is only part of it.
Beautiful! Joey I’ve watched all you’re stuff IMO this is the most impressive work so far. That is some beautiful walnut. I am SO jealous of the Hammer........
Looks really good. I'm in the designing process of mine but Im going with walnut plywood for the carcass to get the grain and color consistency. That stained pine would drive me crazy. I'm also doing solid wood drawers with half-blind dovetails. Your vid was a good inspiration. Best island I've seen so far.
Joey, great island. I really liked how and why you used the various hand planes to flatten the top (educational for me). Beautiful piece, looking forward to seeing more of this build!!
Love that you scraped the top. Sandpaper will never offer the clarity of of a planed or scraped finish. I scrape whenever possible! Some time I intend to grab a lie-Nielsen scraper plane and up that a little more.
Absolutely stunning work. I am a bit surprised that with all attention to detail and just over the top woodworking that you used Minwax poly. I expected some spray on laquer or nitro cellulose. I love the look and you did a top notch job. Just wonder how long Minwax will hold up. That being said I noticed you can take it apart fairly easily so if it is homeless I could make room in my kitchen. That is the kind of guy I am. Always looking out for others.
Wow, as always, fantastic craftsmanship and design. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the build.
Thank you for these videos, they are a must see. 👍🏻
Another amazing build. Look forward to seeing more outstanding work. Thankyou.
Awesome job! Walnut is my absolute favorite hardwood and you did it proud!
Wow! I learn such a lot from watching your videos - thank you so much, Joey! Best aye.
Really great Joe, fantastic craftsmanship and design. Looking

Love your stuff Joey. Always a quality design and beautiful execution.
Awesome video Joey I always look forward to them. And it's cool seeing all the nz tools and products you use
I never realized how big your shop was. The layout looks great!
Awesome job Joey, I'm keen to see the island sitting in place with the rest of the kitchen. Sounds like it is going to be a pretty flashy kitchen!
Nice one! neat tip about fitting the skirting, thanks for sharing!
That thing is huge. It would probably take up my whole workshop haha. Great build!
Amazing work as always Joey, if that's the island I can imagine how great all the fittings will look when it's completed. Looking forward to that overview. Wish I was living nearby man, pleasure to watch you work..
That finish looks SO smooth, like a 3D rendered image of the actual piece!
Love your videos! Keep them coming, you do amazing work.
Wow this is beautiful Joey. Can’t wait so see the whole kitchen in place.
You are a spectacular craftsman. If I could live near you I'd come work at your shop for free just so I could watch and learn.
