The fk2 is the nicest out of the newer gens
Bought mine in July, had focus ST mk3 which is to common. Looking to get mine tuned when warranty runs out.

I do like them. But that does sound shit and in my opinion doesn't sound like a normal vtec honda. New cars just aren't as cool as the older ones
You can't beat old school hot hatches.
Shame about the rear torsion beam setup. Basic compared to just about every other hotch in this segment
Gordon McCartney theres nothing wrong with a rear semi independent beam the french have been producing some of the best handling hot hatches including the new megane rs using a similar system, rear independent is more for comfort than handling
Honestly makes no real difference in the real world with the average joe behind the wheel. The FK2 managed to spank a lot of much more expensive sports cars around several race tracks, regardless.

I've owned an EK9, EP3, DC2, DC5, CL1 and FD2.
I want another Type-R but the FK2 and FK8 just don't do it for me.
I think I'd actually feel stupid driving this about.
Apparently all the aero parts are there for a reason but, I think they tried just too hard with the styling.
I miss the redline...7k isnt for me so ill stay with my ep3

I had an fk2. Wasn't half as much fun as I was expecting. Much preferred the dc5 and ek9 for all out ripping on the track.
The fn2 and fk2 are just all wrong. Too heavy with the wrong set up. Could have been so much more.
Honda might not have wanted more power because it would become more un reliable
