I am giving you a long awaited life update on our house construction and letting you know why I have been MIA for so long. One big chapter is behind us and now heading to the next one ! I hope you enjoy!

Last Thanksgiving/Xmas season, I was in the same position. I started my project in 2017. Just moved in to our new home summer 2021. We gave birth to our first baby in 2020, yup during pandemic and our interior doors were not able to arrive on time. Oh my God…. I felt like the wait was so long. I know the feeling. But I love following your story. Your home is one of a kind!

Tradesmen 🔨 were terrible even before the pandemic hit, I don’t know how most of them manage to stay in business. Sounds very much like renting/buying in the UK. 6yr build “wow”. Hopefully 2022, will bring you your new home 🏠 and in the mean time enjoy the room service 🍽. I

Helloo 👋 i know what you mean from the perspective of architect's gf 😊 he is renovating an apartment in Paris and the buyers wanted to move initially in Xmas. But with Covid it became impossible. No workers, no material. Now every week he goes to Paris to move things faster 😅 Let me know if he can help (we are also in Belgium)

Does your country have “common law” marriages? It’d be awfully nice of your partner to put your name on his land and any dwellings on the property. Good luck to you 👍🏻
The classic common law marriage doesn’t exist, but there are many other ways around it 😉😘
