I was obsessed with the true monogram classics when I purchased my first bag in Damier Ebene print. Since then my tastes have changed and even though I won't part with most of my monogram items, I also love flying under the radar with the less in-your-face stunning bags and let their design speak for them. Here is my collection of my least tacky bags 😂

I'm exactly like you, when I love something, I always think it's better to have it in multiple colors 😂 But I also agree it's better to have diversity in bags so I'm equally trying not to end up with a rainbow of Puzzle bags!

I really enjoyed this. Whilst I do like the occasional one off logo on a clasp, for instance, for the most part I do prefer low key luxury. I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing an LV monogram bag or one of those things with the full brand name in huge letters plastered all over it. Speaking as someone who is pushing 60, your taste does tend to change as you get older, or I prefer grow up. I would never wear some of the things I wore in my 20s, they were truly cringe worthy.
Hahahah, I totally get you, but I’m sure not there yet 😂 I love me some truly used monogram bags (I like the look when it feels like you got the item passed down from your grandma, it makes it look cool instead of trying too hard.) True that tastes change and with age comes (hopefully) maturity 😉

Ooh I still like a bit of logo, especially LV canvas because it’s so casual. I have 2 very small bags in LV monogram, 3 small in damier azur/damier ebene; I consider the damier range low key - ‘if you know, you know’? I also have the Alma BB in Epi which my husband hates - he calls it the Nanna bag because, like you, it reminds him of one the Queen would’ve carried 😆.

I love the understated quiet sophisticated design of not as well known brands.

omg that Balenciaga blackout crossbody strap is annoying! Have you tried using the Loewe puzzle strap for it? since it's also in black. Anyway, great review and definitely love IYKYK kinda bags!
I know right 😅 I have tried the puzzle strap, but it has silver hardware as opposed to the blackout hardware of Balenciaga so it isn’t a perfect fit…
I have a balenciaga bag with that same shoulder strap. Just turn it around so the other side is on ur shoulder
