Never knew you were struggling with back pain, you hid it well. I’d love for you to share a bit more in depth of how you injured your back and what surgery was done to correct it all these years later. May I also ask you to share how it became emergency surgery? I often find information shared can be life changing for myself or others.

Omg, how similar our stories are 😂 I also moved ab 11-12 years ago (live in the NL the last couple of years), I also did a professional makeup course hoping to pursue a career/hobby in beauty industry (for some reason it didn’t work), and I also chose (for the time being) to devote energy and time to my son.

Welcome back Carol! I am glad your surgery went smoothly. I agree that humor helps us get through rough patches in life. Congrats on the new house! Looking forward to a hour tour....doesn't matter whichever way you want to do it...split into two segments or one. I have gained weight during the pandemic but I have been walking more this year and I have noticed I feel better overall. Chronic pain is a major problem in our society. I know friends who have dealt with chronic pain and all I can say is that chronic pain affects their lives every day. A good friend of mine has fibromyalgia and there are days she cannot go to work. Walking is one of my favourite things to do and to think I was in so much pain and just “powered through”…I feel stupid.

I'm 36 and stopped working when I had my first daughter. I was 33. I had my next and last daughter at 34. Being a SAHM has been the hardest job of my life but I also love being able to do it. Taking care of the house is also a huge job when your have kids making a mess from the moment they wake up every day haha I also know that if or when I go back to work I have skills to offer.
Dear Carol, it’s so good to hear that your health is improving and you are free from pain. I hope things go more smoothly for you from now on. After the tough time you have had it’s wonderful to hear you getting excited about the non essential things in life again, like handbags. That would sound silly to somebody who doesn’t get it but we do here. Take care and best wishes.

Hey Carol! Great to see you back! And Carol my dear, I knew I saw traits in you that are similar to me 💖 This is why I love watching your videos. Gald you are no longer in pain. And we 'strong women types' only learn to accept more help when we get therapy. It literally clears up why we resist help, care and why we procrastinate (deal with any type of pain, physical or mental for longer than needed) and self blame. Girl, we are textbook to the therapists and they have a name for it all! 😅 But all in all so glad you are in your new home, happier, and moving forward with you new life. Congrats! Take care! 💕🍷🎊

As I sit here watching this video, because I am so excited to see you back……I feel like I am watching myself 15 years ago. As women we are led into thinking we need careers, and a plan. I stayed at home with my kids, last one graduates in 2 days, and my only regret is that I didn’t enjoy my time more and feel more power in who I was and what I am doing! Seriously, I nailed this thing! My son is a Pilot and my daughter will go to college to be an Engineer! I loved always being there for them. And I will continue to do so…..like a boss!😉😂. Keep making videos! This platform is a great place to have friendships and support each other! We can’t watch the news in America today so you tube is a huge part of my sanity. Showing a half finished house is so hopeful and exciting!!!! Talking about health, is awesome and honest. Talking about family and kids, is love and our lives. It is all good stuff. I am always supportive of everyone else doing whatever they feel is right and yet I beat myself up because I set other expectations. I am consciously going to enjoy the years I have left with my daughter, that’s something you never get back.

We are driving Tesla’s ATM. Currently the best driving cars on the market with the longest range. They are nog perfect, but they drive perfectly. As soon as something comes along that goes at least double the range we have now and is more luxurious we might reconsider. We’ve tried everything out there, but they are still the ones with longest range. Maybe you have more options in the US? Although probably not, we are way ahead with the electric reforms 😂 And ouch, I’m really happy we don’t have to tank now. Best for the wallet is solar powered energy. Gosh I have to move into PMs with this novel 😂😂😂
