@MsMojo are made up of racism french Canadians people that put pointless stuffs like "Top 10 cartoon that should'nt need a "reboot sure be anti "asians" for saying Asians people shouldnt voice in the original Avatar cartoon!
I remember doing the finale of Les Mis in rehearsal for the first time and getting chills at it. Then the orchestra needed a new concertmistress and I found myself doing those final descants over “say do you hear the distant drums” and crying the whole time during performance. Local theater is fun.
“I Am The One (Reprise)” from Next to Normal was the largest turning point of the musical, where Gabe finally leaves for good. Surprised to not have seen it, but great video anyways!
We are avid fans of musicals, and light opera such as Phantom. Many of these hit me in the heartstrings, but I cried when you played You'll Never Walk Alone. It was one of my mother's favorite songs. She's been gone 6 years now; she would have loved this list.
Hearing the chorus of Broadway performers sing "Sunday" to honor Sondheim after his death was hauntingly beautiful. I couldn't think of a better song to sum up what Stephen Sondheim was all about.
Masquerade reprise is my favorite from Phantom of the Opera. From Sound of Music, the Edelweiss reprise where Georg can’t finish singing because he’s saying goodbye to the country he loves so much is so powerful.
These three reprises really make me emotional the most Iconic musical Reprises Legally Blonde Reprise - Legally Blonde I am not that girl- Wicked Good morning Baltimore Reprise
Big Bright Beautiful World reprise from Shrek the musical should be on here. It was so beautiful and fitting because Shrek initially hated the world and was always told the world would hate him. When they slowed it down, he sang about how he learned that it is in fact a big bright beautiful world.
something that is such a pain for me right now, they’re doing the show at the college i go to in the spring. before this summer i like never heard of it, but then i fell in love with the show and i’ve been wanting to play Fabrizio and practicing and everything for it. i didn’t even get called back for him. and now, like Clara says, i see it EVERYWHERE. like it’s just rubbing it in my face. got Signor tho 😏
@@norklas Oh no I’m so sorry! Ah I feel ya, it’s so hard to fully do musical theatre even for community productions when they don’t give you a chance! I still believe in you at least & I’m sure they totally missed out on ya! Don’t give up, I believe in you! 🙏
The real problem in "Sweeney Todd" is Mrs. Lovett. She knows everything. She could have easily told Sweeney about his wife and daughter, but she chose to hide it from him because she wanted him all to herself. She really thought they were going to run away and live happily ever after, but keeping the secret to herself caught up to her in the end.
KERI RENE FULLER DESERVES SO MUCH MORE ATTENTION HER RENDITION OF MEMORY IS GENUINELY MY FAVORITE ALONGSIDE BETTY BUCKLEY LIKE IT GENUINELY GOES 1:BETTY BUCKLEY 2: KERI RENE FULLER In my book SHE IS PHENOMENAL
Big Correction: During the reprise of Joanna in Sweeney…. Todd DOES know that Judge Turpin has his daughter AND he knows that the woman Anthony is in love with is his daughter. It was told to him by Anthony in the first act when Anthony finds Todd on Fleet Street after seeking him out. And in the song Sweeney is lamenting about finally finding his daughter, but, about to lose her again to Anthony.
My favorite is by far Finale Ultimo from Hunchback. It’s technically a two-for-one, but the reprise of “Someday” followed by “The Bells of Notre Dame” to bring hope to such a tragic situation is beautiful.
Andrews' Vision in Titanic. To open and end the musical. At the beginning it's so full of hope, and dreams. At the end it's mournful and reflective, looking at the cost of those dreams.
"The Old Red Hills of Home" was my top played song for 2023. Which I find very funny, but I saw the show six times, so it makes sense that I listened to the soundtrack A LOT.
Too bad this top doesn't have the reprise of "Big bright beautiful world" from Shrek:the musical, but still, it was a great top. Thanks, Emely, and a happy friday afternoon to you as well. Take care and God bless you, and greetings from Colombia.
Whoever wrote this obviously never saw "West Side Story". Yes, the Jets & Sharks want to obliterate each other. Yes, Tony and Maria want to be together. But Bernardo and Anita were NOT singing about "protecting Maria". Anita was singing about how she & 'Nardo were going to spent their time post-rumble! Her part had NOTHING to do with Maria!
I remember being moved by the song in the recording, crying at the movie. I went to the show and started crying as soon as Angel died. I literally couldn’t stop crying until the end of Goodbye, Love because it was so well done.
Eldonza/Dulcinea's change because of Don Quixote is the legacy of the musical _Man of La Mancha_ Also "Do You Hear The People Sing" is very much depicted as said in this video... going from an anthem of socialistic delusion to a hymn of Christian immortality.

Cats The Musical 1998 Reprise
Dead Girl Walking is such an iconic reprise. Before, Veronica was referring to the death of her social life. Now, she means it literally!
Yes, that's probably one of the strongest reprises in any musical. Considering how many there are in Heathers alone, that's saying something!
Do You Hear the People Sing sends me goosebumps but in a good way
Indeed it’s so good and one of the best ending of any musical because it’s just such a beautiful way to show how Jean Valjean to enter heven
I remember doing the finale of Les Mis in rehearsal for the first time and getting chills at it. Then the orchestra needed a new concertmistress and I found myself doing those final descants over “say do you hear the distant drums” and crying the whole time during performance. Local theater is fun.
“Somewhere” reprise from West Side Story is devastating. Maria draws out the now impossible hopes.
Yes, Maria does and its powerful and sad
“I Am The One (Reprise)” from Next to Normal was the largest turning point of the musical, where Gabe finally leaves for good. Surprised to not have seen it, but great video anyways!

Amazing seeing Come From Away here, I got chills in that theater
All I ask of you reprise. Breaks my heart every single time! I cry buckets!
Masquerade reprise is my favorite from Phantom of the Opera. From Sound of Music, the Edelweiss reprise where Georg can’t finish singing because he’s saying goodbye to the country he loves so much is so powerful.
I Ador The Sound of Music and yes Edelweiss is beautiful, powerful and sad.
I love that Sunday (reprise) is number one. One of the most fulfilling and meaningful endings I've ever seen on a musical.
Agony from Into The Woods
Act 1 version of this Princes’ sing is the best set up for the final line of the Act 2 reprise.
(& the movie cut it)
The Santa Fe reprise from Newsies. It absolutely rips my heart out.
These three reprises really make me emotional the most
Iconic musical Reprises
Legally Blonde Reprise - Legally Blonde
I am not that girl- Wicked
Good morning Baltimore Reprise
RENT has always been my favorite musical. After the death of my first husband I'll Cover You (Reprise) makes me sob every time.
Big Bright Beautiful World reprise from Shrek the musical should be on here. It was so beautiful and fitting because Shrek initially hated the world and was always told the world would hate him. When they slowed it down, he sang about how he learned that it is in fact a big bright beautiful world.
Always makes my heart happy seeing Light in The Piazza in these videos! Even in the honorable mentions! SUCH AN UNDERRATED MUSICAL! 😭
something that is such a pain for me right now, they’re doing the show at the college i go to in the spring. before this summer i like never heard of it, but then i fell in love with the show and i’ve been wanting to play Fabrizio and practicing and everything for it.

I am so happy that All I Ask Of You reprise was in this list

home reprise from Beauty and the Beast its also lovely, where she professes her love for the Beast.
I'm glad they gave the movie of Little Shop of Horrors a happy ending instead of a sad and scary one.
Nice variety of videos. It's good to see some here that aren't mentioned a lot.
KERI RENE FULLER DESERVES SO MUCH MORE ATTENTION HER RENDITION OF MEMORY IS GENUINELY MY FAVORITE ALONGSIDE BETTY BUCKLEY LIKE IT GENUINELY GOES

How did you forget Rent - Santa Fe at Angels funeral and No Day But Today to end the show.
The Megasix from Six
"The Old Red Hills of Home" was my top played song for 2023. Which I find very funny, but I saw the show six times, so it makes sense that I listened to the soundtrack A LOT.
I saw it three times. Ben Platt was number one on my Spotify wrapped lol. My biggest regret is not being able to see the final show.
Too bad this top doesn't have the reprise of "Big bright beautiful world" from Shrek:the musical, but still, it was a great top. Thanks, Emely, and a happy friday afternoon to you as well. Take care and God bless you, and greetings from Colombia.
“Stay Alive” from Hamilton. Phillip’s death gets me every time.
So great!
Just about to watch, bit this list better have Part of Your World and Look At Me I'm Sandra Dee reprises in the top 10!
Great episode.

fine I will listen to come from away again
I’ll cover you reprise is beautiful ❤
Im shocked Wait For Me (Reprise) wasn’t even an honorable mention. Talk about an iconic reprise from a modern show.
Legally Blonde remix not getting an honorable mention makes me desperately want to sob
Eldonza/Dulcinea's change because of Don Quixote is the legacy of the musical _Man of La Mancha_ Also "Do You Hear The People Sing" is very much depicted as said in this video... going from an anthem of socialistic delusion to a hymn of Christian immortality.
Elaborate Lives (Reprise)?
no part of your world reprise? 😭
Do You Hear the Peoplw Sing should be higher..also Miss Saigon?
Boublil and Schonberg definitely know how to write a good ending reprise.

Why is Reprise pronounced Repreeze??😲:-)😳😲😯😮
Because it is.
