An absolutely stunning model with unbelievably stable flight. Superb camera mount positioning and weight control. One of the best flights I’ve seen you, or anyone do on UA-cam. 👍🇬🇧🙏♥️
I made peanut scale models as a kid but could never find anyone else to build and fly with. I'm so happy to see you out there today enjoying f/f models. All the good memories are rushing back.
There is a guy online who flys rubber models in Central Park NY. He puts in a tiny radio system that controls the rudder so he doesn't lose the plane. He lands it in the park.
Perfection, even the landings were successful every time. How nice to see some perfect hand launches. So many we see are jerky throws without wings being level. These smooth launches with wings level, the machine slightly nose high and at the correct flying speed, a delight to see. The transition from hand to wing born flight perfectly executed.
This is a fantastic build, I've always really liked this one ever since you built it, I still haven't built one of my own, I need to go get the plans enlarged.
I saved this for Monday evening, I KNEW I'd need soul food and I was NOT disappointed! Big f/f rubber planes have loads going for them, things you just can't get from smaller birds and this is a great example. Like the approach to landing - perfect, no hint of noseover, just that little, demure turn to the right - pure magic! And the flight in general looks so composed and stable. It's great to see this N. Beazely back after some time off screen! Nice one Tom. 🌟👍
It's a shame there is no pilot but then the camera would be filming the back of their head! Still, stunning cinematography as always and the music certainly fitted the mood.
What a beautiful, perfectly trimmed model. Did the damp slacken the tissue - or is that my imagination?! Just watched the rest of the video - tissue taut at noon ...
Thx, she has been a dream to fly through the years. Regarding the tissue on all of my models, as a way to save weight and avoid warping, I use Krylon spray as a sealer, rather than dope, which has a history of leading to warped structures over time. The downside with Krylon is that in the damp morning or evening, the tissue will surely wrinkle...and I accept that, knowing that when I fly during the day, the tissue is likely going to be drum tight, leading to more majestic flights.
I love the onboard views where you can hear the motor quietly puttering along. 😄

Yes.

Beautiful model, beautiful plane, beautiful video thank you.
Can I ask do you dope your tissue?
Grandioso
Beautiful build. It flew just like a Jodel. How do you get it stay fling for a long time?
Build it light, trim it right, size the motor right, wind it tight, launch it right. Large field and calm weather help.
Piękny model. Każdy rodzaj modelarstwa jest wspaniały, ale samoloty napędzane gumą to jest majstersztyk modelarstwa.
Herrlich
