Whoever had the idea to do these interviews was extremely wise. This is what people want to hear. Elvis was the same as anybody else! Plus to top it off, this would be exactly what Elvis would have wanted to share with the public.
Wow Elvis bought all the guys a car and left him standing , I’m sure they didn’t know Elvis gave away his own car though lol. What a sweet lady for sharing this personal story. It just shows us how giving his heart was. I love listening to these stories. God Bless.
She about brought me to tears when she started crying talking about when Elvis died. You could still see the pain like it was yesterday all these years later. She was a wonderful lady.
What a beautiful lady... she cried talking about Elvis dying and it said alot about how she felt about him to genuinley cry all these years later like it was as raw as it was way back when it happened.. she truly felt that pain and grief again.... I could tell she loved him a great deal
I loved this interview she is so sweet! Breaks my 💔 heart to hear,ELVIS brought all these cars 🚗 for people and NOT ONE,UNGRATEFUL PERSON WAITED AND GAVE HIM A LIFT BACK! Loved to see more interviews with this lovely lady
That was some fantastic stories she told !! Except when she told the one about when Elvis passed away . Aww... that brought tears to my eyes . Bless her heart. Thank you so much Miss Louise for sharing your stories about your life with Elvis . I love it !! ❤
What a beautiful story she told it made me so sad for Elvis, bless his heart nobody is following him now, he's at peace. You can tell this sweet little lady love's Elvis I almost cried with her. I'm happy Elvis was so good to her and showed her around, she has to have some of the most precious memorie's. The way she talked about Elvis and the love he had for everyone. He didn't discriminate he loved everyone he came across. He did thing's for so many people, it really touche's my heart. I wish he could've had a life like everyone else it just doesn't seem fair, he gave so much love but in the end of his life it was like everyone forgot him. Whatever he did it wasn't anyone else's business, I think the book probably hurt his heart so bad. RIP ELVIS YOU DID YOUR PART WHILE YOU WERE HERE MAYBE THAT'S WHY GOD CALLED YOU HOME SO EARLY IN LIFE SO YOU COULD FIND THE PEACE WE ARE ALL LOOKING FOR.
I think Elvis felt guilty because life had been so good to him and it made him feel better to share. Not only the King of Rock and Roll but the King of BIG hearts too.
This lovely little lady will always have a special place in my heart -- a true gem from the Elvis world and Elvis family. I can see why he loved her so and always teased her and got a kick out of her because she was as genuine as the day is long. I know God is holding this little lady very tightly by His side.
WONDERFUL interview from one of his million #1 fans....THANK YOU Louise for her very personal, first-hand account of one of the most loved humans on this planet. TCB

Thank you all for viewing this interview. I shot this in January at the old Clarion Hotel which is now the Travelodge. We had planned this interview for years and she finally said let's do it now so we went into a vendors area and shot it. I have some additional footage I shot of Miss Louise this past June at Tupelo Elvis Festival and a little at the Rock N Roll Cafe from July. Sadly, she passed away after having surgery at the end of Elvis Week. She was a wonderful lady and loved meeting and educating Elvis Presley fans. I will post more footage soon.

This broke my heart when she started crying she truly did care and love elvis 😢 these interviews are priceless to me because the person genuinely cared about Elvis not about what they could or did get out of him .

Deanna...………………...I started grying also. Can you believe that, after all these years we are still crying when we hear about Elvis. WOW, what a beautiful human being he was and he gave everything to us but not himself. TCB from Vasa Finland.
I just loved listening to Louise Smith, such a dear lady just like someone you’ve known forever. Her stories were fantastic, I could listen to her forever . God bless her ❤️
What a sweet woman..her voice is so soothing and the stories are fantastic..i would do anything to have one story, ome concert, one anything with Elvis :(
What a sweetheart! At least Elvis had many close to him that cared deeply. She did not mention cars, homes, or money. She’s so proud that she has his Popcorn trophy!!
Great interview! She made me tear up when her emotions showed through as she spike about the day Elvis passed. That was genuine, you can tell she loved Elvis! The most sad part was to hear her tell of the way Elvis felt about his freedom life. I understand that his fans loved him dearly but apparently not dearly enough to give him some freedom to breath and have some private life with his family and for himself!!! That is why he slept all day and stayed up all night!!! There is a difference in trying to get an autograph and people pretty much mugging you, ripping cloths off of him. Yes, I heard that story told(can't remember whom was being interviewed) Elvis got sighted out and a small group ran up screaming and carrying on when one person reached out to grab his clothing trying to rip off just a peice of what he was wearing!! Imo there is a difference in being a number one fan and someone that is mentally obsessed!!!!
Lovely lady, I'm loving the last few years we are hearing from people and family like Louise more as the typical Elvis "memphis mafia" type are passing away, I don't wish them bad but it's great to hear these stories from good people in his life... Like we have heard the story of the buying cars and the black lady he gave a car too, but we never heard that he had to get a ride back to Graceland by a stranger "Willie" and how he gave him a car the next day... Elvis was such a kind person always..
Fantastic lady ELVIS PRESLEY WAS THE kindest person and new what it was like to be poor and never forgot that that's also why his fans loved him besides his great singing love you Elvis you will always live on in your true fans hearts
This was Awesome! She is delightful! Hoping you can do another interview! I would love to hear ANYTHING she can think of to tell us, about Elvis. Thanks, for sharing this with us!! Btw...I could listen to this sweet lady ALL day!
I love her what wonderful stories Elvis had everything except peace So much like a beautiful bird in a small cage he gave us his all I will always love you Elvis
I never knew about this lady but she is very charming and she still is a beautiful lady thank you Mrs Smith for telling about your times with Elvis I loved it.
A precious woman. We are lucky to have her stories, and told in such an engaging way. I could listen to more memories of her life, even the events that do not include Elvis. Someone from a local archive might want to videotape Louise Smith's life story because she is a gem, sparkling with light of the past. Bless you sweet lady.
I wish more people had done interviews with her over the years! She is just one of those people who you can sit and listen to for hours and you would still be entertained hours later. She is so awesome! God bless her

Very sad day when Elvis died, my mom cried too for two days, and we didn’t know him, but we knew his heart and his music and his movies. Aww I just wanna give this lovely lady a hug.
Miss Louise Smith Love to hear you story Beautiful women. Love your voice. I really enjoy that interview. Love you Louise. Keep well. Hope will hear more of you. Take care of yourself. God bless u 💙💖
I moved to Memphis if not at that time, close to it. Elvis used to invite his friends to watch a movie at a Memphis theater. I met him one day, when he and a few men with him, inside a sporting goods store in Corinth, MS when I was shopping for a Christmas gift for my then husband. He was a very polite, soft spoken man and helped me choose a 22 rifle, as I knew nothing about them. It's been a long tome, but THINK mall was Southland Mall.
What a gem this lady is and her 'i was spoilt rotten ' cracked me up 😆! No matter what shes kerpin it real. What an inspiration and great example for us ladies to heed and follow !! Well for men too...for ALL OF US !
I paid God give you a perfect gift of life with long life and prosperity ❤ you seem to a nice woman and worth talking I will love to be your friend if you don't mind
Thank you for making the effort to get more Elvis stories by family members to interview them. Elvis left alone at the garage and having to get back home in the middle of the night by himself. ❤
oh, the old clonker was still there, and it was his last hope of getting home that night if the old black man didn't drop him off, Elvis would have never walked home ,,, oh nope !
This lady is so cute...I love listening to her talk and about Elvis...wish the interview would have been much much longer...lol...thanks so much for sharing it with us. One of the best interviews I've seen.
Thank you all for your comments. I plan to do a follow up interview with her soon. She gave me a tour of her house and showed me some of her Elvis memorabilia. If there is anything you guys would like me to ask her when we do our follow up interview lemme know in the comments.

Deanna...………………...I started grying also. Can you believe that, after all these years we are still crying when we hear about Elvis. WOW, what a beautiful human being he was and he gave everything to us but not himself. TCB from Vasa Finland.
@@BearStar1 This is so true ,,,and Pastor Bob Joyce use to be Elvis
This story of Elvis ' outstanding generosity is much appreciated by my heart. Thankyou dearest Ms
Louise for sharing.

Dee Evans '
U?
"FINALLY" the "complete" story about Elvis BUYING "that" car :) :) Thank You So Much :) :)
What a sweetheart! At least Elvis had many close to him that cared deeply. She did not mention cars, homes, or money. She’s so proud that she has his Popcorn trophy!!
What a bright, caring, spirited and downright amusing lady! Great interview!
Tonya Perry that's why if he's alive and under witness protection program, I hope he has a normal life
Lovely lady, I'm loving the last few years we are hearing from people and family like Louise more as the typical Elvis "memphis mafia" type are passing away, I don't wish them bad but it's great to hear these stories from good people in his life... Like we have heard the story of the buying cars and the black lady he gave a car too, but we never heard that he had to get a ride back to Graceland by a stranger "Willie" and how he gave him a car the next day... Elvis was such a kind person always..
God Bless
Louise & Gene -

A precious woman. We are lucky to have her stories, and told in such an engaging way. I could listen to more memories of her life, even the events that do not include Elvis. Someone from a local archive might want to videotape Louise Smith's life story because she is a gem, sparkling with light of the past. Bless you sweet lady.
I love to listen to her stories about Elvis. She seems like a down to earth human being.

❤ I'm watching this 5 times
It’s amazing that his relatives still feel so much pain after all these years. I knew a hundred ladies like her growing up.
What a sweetheart of a lady!! Enjoyed her so much! Wish I could hear more of her stories!!
Great stories. Thanks. Love it.

Thank you for making the effort to get more Elvis stories by family members to interview them. Elvis left alone at the garage and having to get back home in the middle of the night by himself. ❤

Really nice lady. Those hangers-on just proved what they were like when they got them cars leaving Elvis on his own. Elvis is always TCB
oh, the old clonker was still there, and it was his last hope of getting home that night if the old black man didn't drop him off, Elvis would have never walked home ,,, oh nope !
