    We moved from LA to Ontario Ranch and we like it. Our neighbors are all young professional newlyweds (as we are) from LA/San Fran/Irvine and everyone gets along. The people over here seem friendly. Our main issue is the lack of mom and pops coming to the new spaces. Its all mediocre chains. And the parking lots are always packed with people who shouldn't have passed their drivers tests lol But I'd still recommend.

      I get more people asking about the Ontario Ranch neighborhood than any other neighborhood. Probably because the homes, parks and shopping areas are very new. Fyi, the law says I must tell you every neighborhood is great, but allows me to tell you which is more popular.

    in december 99 i was helping a friend by guarding new construction at night. a massive windstorm came thru. 70-90 mile an hour winds, filled with sand. couldnt see. it bent garage doors like toys, broke windows, tore off a stop sign. i took it home. i'd say 40 homes were severly damaged.

    • @Californialiving
      @Californialiving  4 місяці тому

      Those Santa Ana winds really cause a lot of damage. A couple of years ago I lost a fence that way and had to replace the entire fence. Although the fence was really old and rotted, still I could have liked to have waited a few more months before having to replace an entire fence. That's something that, for some reason, is unknown in this area.

    Way Overpopulated. I watched the Population go from 10,000 in the late 60s to 80,000 now. That's a lot of people to Cram into a 14 square mile town. I left in 2016. No regrets at all. Left Kommiefornia altogether. Have fun there with the traffic skyrocketing crime and a corrupt Police Department and City Government. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

      Perception is reality, right? I moved here from the Bronx. And when I got here I was like "look at all this space, all this available parking. Homes have LAWNS!" I thought the opposite.
