Great Review, I believe it is worth mentioning as a previous resident in Rancho is the weather, it's very hot for a good 4-6 months/ year this is what made me move out. Great place to live otherwise!
I'm from Maine and got to Live in Rancho Cucamonga for a year and loved it. You should've shown the beautiful Mountain veiw from anywhere you look up 👆
Been here since 2004. Love it. Schools are fantastic. I absolutely feel safe as a lot of cops and 1st responders overall live in this city. When an incident/accident happens, there are a lot of police units and helicopter responding immediately. Also a lot of support from the community for them. My kids love it here as there are lots of activities to do for them. As for the cons, You hit it spot on with the traffic. The building of lots of apartments and condos are skyrocketing lately. The 210 is becoming a parking lot. I guess when this place eventually becomes L.A. and I retire, I will always keep my house and rent it out as it is in a prime location. lol
The town is great I used to live there in 1991 whole family used to live there I went to high school there yeah you get your wins but you get a lot of sunshine yeah you have rains you don't have to worry about humidity yeah the summers could be hot... Don't got to worry about snow if you live somewhere that's really snowing wintery and you want to get away from that element that's the place where you want to be..
I've noticed over the years how much windier it is on the east side of Rancho. I live in the Alta Loma side and it's windy here in windy season but nit as bad as the Etiwanda side. Ive noticed driving along baseline Rd that past Milliken headed east is the windiest.
That’s a great question, coyotes are definitely more common they don’t bother and don’t like to interact with us lol, however it’s always best to use safety practices. Don’t leave food out overnight or animals etc. Snakes are found in more rural areas not a problem within more residential areas.
I've lived in Rancho since 2013. I came from Los Angeles. What really surprised me as far as wildlife are the birds. I live just south of the 210. I see tons of hawks, falcons and the occasional parrot flocks and recently tons of crows are moving into town. I have lots of little lizards living around my property. I see the occasional coyote running down the street. You'll also spot opossums, skunks and some bobcats(mostly getting closer towards the foothills). I've only read online about bear and mountain lion sightings around the foothills. It's really beautiful.
the name of the city's named after the kuukaamonga village as part of the tongva tribe. They became workers for tiburco tapia, of which his 'rancho' is also what the city's named after, especially since the village and his rancho both convened at red hill park.
Not Cucamonga what happened to Riverside that's not Riverside I thought we were talking about Riverside cost of living is getting higher houses are getting higher crime is up lot of illegal aliens is up

Thanks for that! Yes the inland empire in general can get pretty toasty.
It snows here. 2,500 elevation.

You’re absolutely correct ✅
That’s a little worrisome but overall still a great peaceful place to raise a family
I'm about to move to Rancho Cucamonga from Saudi Arabia, and I know nothing about it. I've gained a lot from the information you provided. Thank you!"
There’s a growing number of Egyptians into the city. Very beautiful women
You're welcome!
Thanks for the sharing. One question: Is it windy?
Great question, not tremendously windy. It’s very light. Hope this helps!
it is
It’s windy during the Santa Ana wind season

What about wildlife like snakes, coyotes etc?

can you say "Rancho Cucamonga" again?
Where the native people that lived in this hot dirt patch flipped it in prosperity too look this good, or did they sold it to Americans?
