I can get Bflat5, B5, C5, D5, Dsharp5/ Eflat5, my problem is changing over from E4 F4 G4 Gsharp4/Aflat4 just below beneath C5. I must bridge somewhere around E4 or F4. I am a trained singer but I haven't sung in ages and I was clasically trained. P.S. I am not a tenor I am a lyric baritone.
thanks for sharing, i seem to struggle with keeping my larynx still... it seems like youve stopped making videos but could you do one about how you achieve such good vibrato?
Hi Bilal, sorry I haven't made any videos in a while! I'm very busy with a number of projects. Thanks for your request, I appreciate it. I have found that some people naturally have vibrato much more easily than others, and there's no quick trick for developing it. Vibrato tends to emerge on its own over time as other good singing habits are developed and you learn to sing with less tension, but to practice getting there, you can try sliding a half step up and down from a given pitch (slide - don't jump), and gradually increase the speed. This is the maximum amplitude of vibrato you're likely to want, but since it's hard to play notes in between half-steps, that's one place to start. I keep thinking I want to make time to do more videos again, so when I do, I will address your question in a video! Happy New Year.
But can you also sing your highest notes without moving that larynx thing? I feel like when I want to produce higher notes this doesnt work. The note range seems to be way smaller
Thanks for telling us guys what the final note was for us as I always second guess myself. I actually struggle with the g and g b when I try to sing the word ground in full voice and it will be interesting to see if it's because I am raising my larynx.
where can I feel low notes are resonating and where the placement of low notes in the mouth?I feel my high notes in my cheeks at my mask but I don't know where to feel low notes.thanks
