So ,the orange plastic things prevent you from accessing the screws or do you need a special tool to adjust with the plastic in place? I am probably gonna gut them out of there like you did .I have a 21 year old CS 3000 that's been used in damn near professional heavy service . Its getting tired ,will rev up but takes awhile ,like getting a Yugo up to 60 mph!! I was thinking might need new rings ,reed valve etc . But now am thinking maybe open up the H screw a little bit . What controls the idle ,because mine idles fast as hell now , dont kick down unless you hit the throttle like ten times .Thanks for your videos!

They keep you from turning to much but most of the time they are just in the way

What is the basic start screw settings if they were removed? Is one and a half turns out about correct ? Thank you.

Those adjustment screws are a pain, so easy to slip off when it's at full revs. Nice video

Looks like you probably bent the two screws by driving the screw in between, overall a bad thing to do

Nope. They are fine all of the thousands of times I've done this.

Hello, good evening. I have a question. My chainsaw carburetor leaks gasoline through the air filter when I accelerate.

to rich or needs new carb. turn adjustment screw closest to the air filter clockwise a little at a time. but more than likely a new carb.

Why do they put the stupid stops on the carb adjustments? Same problem that my CS301 is having! Thanks for the video!
