Currently unavailable on Amazon, but 50% discounted on the DK2 website. I went for the Young Electric rack due to its 200 lb weight capacity that I need due to having two heavy ebikes (Ecells Five Star). It also is rated for RV use. I believe the racks with vertical stabilization arms are superior to the ones that use only tire hoops. The Young Electric's arms have clamps to connect to the bike frame or seat post which I favor over the type that merely puts pressure down on the bike such as this one. This one does have some trick features, such as the roll over front wheel cradles, making it easier to position the bike.
Thank you for the review. I ordered it and it arrived today. Just wanted to point out that it it looks like you installed the inner and outer rack incorrectly. I made the same mistake and after looking at the cover of the manual, I realized I had put the inner rack as the outer rack and vice versa. Two quick references are 1) that the company logo is on the outer rack and should be facing out or away from the car (if you look at the footage when you're testing the rack on different cars, the company logo is facing the car), and 2) the arm of the outer rack should be over the handle when not in use. It looks like that it still does the job the way you installed it but just wanted to make you aware in case that change makes a difference with the potential clearance issue with some vehicles. Thanks again for your video and review.
Thanks for your review. I just ordered this rack based on the reviews. I now see in your and other videos the potential bumper and wheel holder clearance issue when folded. I guess this depend on how far the rack goes into the receiver hitch? If there is a clearance problem i guess i can drill another hole in the hitch to bring the rack out an inch or so. Your thoughts?
amzn.to/40pl9aN this rack is here

No you cannot it has special lock system. It’s a solid rack if it fits.
Great video, thanks. Did you ever figure out what the extra bolt was on the bottom of the mounting tray, the one sticking out in the center?
Didn’t
@@OtterXtra haha, so strange, I emailed them. No reponse, it's making my OCD go crazy.
Same they discontinued bike products most likely no money in bikes
I got it a couple of days ago, I like it, but it's too heavy, probably twice the wight of a kuat or rocky mounts, however the quality is great.
its cheap
@@OtterXtra indeed... it is.
Do you have the Kuat model that is subject to recall?
