Lisa's and Bill's Saimin looks ono to da max! When nothing else on any menu looks good, I always say, go for the saimin! I mean, as if nothing else on any Zippy's menu, would look good, ha, ha, ha.
I'll tell you, any place which serves food piping hot, and STEAMING, deserves my kudos!

I suddenly wanted to have a wonton min from the beginning of your video (and it's breakfast time in Hawaiʻi now)! You can tell the Prince Waikiki is a Japanese-owned hotel (Seibu Group) because of the Japanese toilet, slippers, and Itoen green tea in the room, and Japanese breakfast items in the buffet, including miso soup, nattō, tsukemono, onsen egg, coffee jelly (jello) and even green salad (which is common in a Japanese Western-style breakfast)! It's not pineapple season in Hawai'i now, so you're right, the pineapple you had might not be from Hawai'i. The facilities and grounds, including the pools look gorgeous! This is very different from the old Hawai'i Prince Hotel (which had a fantastic buffet).. Note: Japanese pumpkin is "kabocha," not "kombucha," which is the fermented tea

Prince Waikiki is one of our all-tine favorite hotels when we visit O'ahu. The ceiling sculpture is reminiscent of schools of hinana, a freshwater fish that was once so numerous that native Hawaiians could scoop them right out of the water! They came from the streams that once flowed mauka to the estuaries, which once were in Waikīkī. The Prince has done a great job commissioning artists to install sculptures that honor pre-colonized Waikīkī. Your video is top tier! I particularly love how high quality the picture is, how well and clearly you both explain and describe your experiences and the energy you bring. We aren't sure when we will be able to visit again, and your video is comforting and full of aloha spirit and mindset. I love your travel videos and appreciate them! Mahalo nui 🌿🙏🌺

I missed watching this when you first posted it so I'm watching it now. I laughed to myself when I saw Bill wearing the ABC Aloha shirt. I love that one too. And natto is fermented soy beans. I love it.
New Hawaii series dropping today. 🤙🏽
I stayed there last year and it was great. The only downside to the room was that we were over the HVAC, and all we could hear was the AC running when we opened the windows. We never made it to 100 Sails because there were so many other food choices, and we didn't want to pay that much for a buffet. We went to 7-11 and the ABC stores and grabbed snacks and drinks to fill the mini fridge.
Wow! I would stay there just for the breakfast buffet alone.. food looked so delicious and fresh! 😊

We love the Prince. We were just there two weeks ago. The staff is amazing. The concierge Noelani is the sweetest. We can’t wait to go back! This was our 7th visit and we love the location. We go to Magic Island instead of Waikiki beach. Highly recommend this hotel.

If you’ve never tried Katsumidori Sushi you’ll have to try it next time your back if you’re into sushi. Very high quality and we usually end up ordering from there for special occasions.

Great video review! Prince is our all time favorite hotel. Location, staffing, beach, shopping & eateries.
The brass cones on ceiling is the Hulali i ka lā (glistening in the sun) the shape resembles the hinana fish. Where once was before hotel came to be. Now it lives on through the hotel. They have free shuttle to Ala Moana & Waikiki. 🤙

Thankful for kama'aina rates! Prince Waikiki is our go-to for staycations! Beautiful location, gorgeous hotel, and onolicious food! Katsumidori (1st floor) serves great sushi as well! 🤩

Happy Thanksgiving! I love the Prince Waikiki. I've been to the brunch and dinner buffets at 100 Sails. One of my favorite places Never been to their breakfast so thanks for the review. They also have a great sushi place on the first floor that is worth checking out. Breakfast price is pretty darn good. We might have to check it out one day....maybe a stay cation. I think you would have a fabulous view of the New Year's fireworks off of Magic Island as well!

01:30 Our Zippy's in Ewa is open 24 hours Friday and Saturday nights. I guess tourists are tuckered out by 02:00. Bars and clubs in Honolulu close at 02:00 and 04:00 so folks going home have a place to get a bite to eat. Pre-Covid, many Zippy's were open 24/7.

I take my mom to that Zippys every time I'm in town. I have to get my fix of Zippys' KFC. I stay across the street from the Prince at the Ramada, much cheaper.😂 Walk to Ala Moana and on the bus route to the airport!

The Prince Waikiki is my favorite hotel in Honolulu. Even though I have somehow eluded eating at the 100 Sails restaurant on the property!
Location: just what I want. Quiet with the entrance away from busy Ala Moana Blvd. and facing the harbor.
A short walk from Ala Moana Center shopping mall, Magic Island Park (a good place to view the sunset), and downtown Waikiki and its hustle & bustle. No beachfront but that’s OK with me.
And there’s an ABC store literally across Ala Moana Blvd.
Customer service: excellent, they know how to make you feel special.
Reservations representative Naomi H. helped me to find a good rate deal and concierge Noelani Wright was able to secure a much coveted dinner reservation at a very popular local restaurant when I called her a few weeks before our arrival. The car valet staff are also so friendly and full of Aloha!
Rooms: picturesque view of the harbor and boats as you described.
The Toto bidet toilets are what clinches the decision for me!
Parking: underground garage, I was always able to find a space.

At 100 Sails I ate there dinner buffet it was delicious. You should try Side Street Inn; order there pork chops.
Went to side Street several years ago, might need to do a revisit.

08:32 -- Looks dark out, in back of you guys, the next morning. What time did you wake up? I know I ask kinda weird stuff, from time to time, but ... people who get up and get going early have always impressed me.
I go to bed at 02:00 and wake up at 10:30 so ... I think you can understand why early risers have always fascinated me, LoL!
We're early risers, especially when travelling. Usually up and out by 7am local time.
