McDonald's rotates their special pies. Taro is available a few times throughout the year. Other times, it's haupia. Fried apple is always in stock. If you are lucky to catch the taro pie you can freeze them and bring them home. They bake right up and are just as delish! I call in my order, so they have 20 pies ready for me. All the family really appreciates it when I bring taro pies home to CA.😋 Tip: get pies with softserve and dip the pie before each bite!
I think the Monkeypod kitchen used to be called the Shorebird Beach Broiler. You had to grill your main dish and the rest of your meal was buffet. The Shorebird was and is my all time favorite restaurant. Brings back so many memories.

@@billandlisa just booked for Oscar’s. Only there for a long weekend and have one night free for a steakhouse. Oscar’s was the easier reservation so I made it. And honestly my wife isn’t a big meat eater and I think she will love the ambiance there from what it looked like.

We've been to Barry's once, Oscar's several times. Both are great choices. Don't forget about Andiamo's too, another great steakhouse.
