I’m not sure I want to put in all the work to do this and then find out I’m not a fan of the grip. Looks amazing though. I bet you’re definitely turning heads.
Thanks Jason! And I totally get it. It's a thicker grip than most, so if you're not a fan of thick hockey handle grips you prob won't like it. If you can handle a thicker grip, though, you should go for it, it feels great on your fingers.
I use it all the time when I teach, both on and off the ice, and also when I play in men's league games. My competitive caareer is long over but if I did have a competitive career still I would definitely use it in games. I genuinely like it a lot. That said, the grip is pretty girthy, so not everybody will like it as much as I do.
True. 😂 Only the first couple times though. Honestly I can do it in 10 minutes now and it doesn't feel like much work at all. But I get what you're saying, it's a skill that needs to be learned and might not be worth the time for everyone.
Tear the tape in half and just do a simple / small knob. Any tape you put down on the shaft of the stick that your glove comes in contact with creates friction and that’s why your ‘top hand’ always wears out the palm first. Not a fan of this look either tbh.
That's it buddy. You're only allowed to have WARRIOR sticks now
😂
For the bottom you could put silver tape and make it look like the start of a blade
Hell yeah, that's good idea!
Awesome, cant wait to try this out for myself, great video
Great explanation! Thanks much :)
You're very welcome!
Really nice. Something to try on my Warrior sticks :) Thanks for sharing!

@@BYGTraining Yes please!
Now I can truly weep when my stick breaks.
@@elevee 😂
Have you used this in games? Or more for dry land training?

You could also put like a “second knob” under it
Yeeeaaaa add a little "hilt" to it. That'd be sick 😎
